This home has been completely remodeled as of August, 2011 and boasts a Key West style/beach theme throughout. All new plumbing, faucets, light fixtures, fans, paint, appliances, and tile have been added to bring this home into like new condition. The Master bedroom has newly added french doors leading to the exterior. The king bed has a thick and wonderfully comfortable new mattress. A t.v. armoire houses a flat- screen t.v. and satellite is provided for your viewing pleasure. Additionally, there is a brand new master bath with two separate sinks, a walk-in shower and shelving for guest towels, also supplied. The Master bath can be accessed through both the hall and the master bedroom. The second bedroom has a new plush, queen bed/mattress, two wicker end tables and a wicker table and chair. Plush bedside rugs add a cozy feel to the beach decor. The guest bathroom is directly across from the second bedroom and is supplied with guest towels as well. The den houses a pull-out sleeper sofa with a Serta mattress, a flat screen t.v. and stand, a small table with seating for four, a rocker and ottoman, and a bamboo accent chair. Adjacent to the den is a storage and laundry room, housing a new Maytag washer/dryer for your convenience. The living room seats nine people comfortably on beautiful white wicker furniture displaying a tropical motif. An electric fireplace/mantel add to the coziness of the home. The kitchen/dining room has all new appliances, including microwave, range, oven, dishwasher, and side by side refrigerator/freezer with outer ice/water dispenser. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, flatware, toaster, toaster-oven, and blender. There is ample storage/cabinets/shelving, as well. French doors lead from the dining room out to a large screened-in porch. Furnishings there include a dining table and six chairs, two wicker love seats, two wicker end tables, a coffee table, a side table, two solid wood chairs, and an area rug.

About the owner: My husband and I retired from FL and moved to WY about nine years ago. After traveling back and forth to visit friends and family, we decided to purchase a winter home in FL. After working on renovating the home, we spent a few winter months enjoying the 'fruits of our labor'. We loved it so much that we decided to make it enjoyable to others. Hence, the VRBO ad that you are currently reading. We have no doubt that you will enjoy this charming cottage home as well, and will tell others about your find.

Some of the other reasons we bought this property besides snowbirding is the convenience to the St Johns River, St. Augustine, Orlando, Jacksonville, Daytona, and Gainesville, the many local beaches, local area seafood restaurants, fishing, shrimping, boating, shopping, and much, much, more.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
We love the Key West cottage style charm that this home exudes. The large canopy of oaks provides ample shade and beauty to the property as well as the many fruit & nut trees and berry bushes. We enjoy sitting and swinging underneath the canopy while enjoying the sights and sounds of nature and the old FL charm. Birds and squirrels are frequent visitors. In addition we like having the public boat ramp just six houses away at the end of the street. There is ample parking for your boat/boat trailer at the boat ramp and on the property as well.
