Kona Coast Resort condo description
This is a Penthouse like no other! You can travel with your whole family and have 2 separate living areas. 2 Complete Master Suites, 2 living rooms to stretch out in with fully equipped kitchens, laundry rooms and 2 large restrooms and separated entrance for privacy.
As you step out onto your private lanai, feel the tropical breezes and take in the wonder of it all. Amidst the panoramic backdrop of Hawaii's Kona Coast, the Kona Coast Resort has an inviting ocean view. From endless recreation to fascinating sights and spectacular natural beauty, the best of the “Big Island” is at your door.
An oceanfront playground is just the beginning of all there is to do at the Kona Coast Resort. Hike in a tropical rainforest. Explore lava tubes formed thousands of years ago and witness the spectacular sight of fresh, fiery lava spilling into the ocean today. Hang with the “big fish” – Kona is one of the world’s best sport fishing centers. You don’t have to train for Kona’s Ironman Triathlon to enjoy the cycling along the coast. If exercise is your thing, head to the resort’s fitness center. Take a dip in one of our two sparkling pools. Play a game of volleyball or tennis. Use the resort’s putting green or play a full round of golf on one of two 18-hole championship courses. Stop into “Splash”, the on-site activities for beach equipment rentals. A 5-Star resort with a 5-Star Restaurant.
The resort is conveniently located just a few miles south of Kona near near Keauhou Bay, where visitors and guests can enjoy snorkel cruises, dive cruises, Manta ray dives, fishing and much more. For the golfers, the beautiful Kona Country Club’s ocean course literally surrounds the resort property and offers some of the best golfing Hawaii has to offer. For the athletes, Kailua-Kona is the home of the Hawaii Ironman and the area offers unlimited hiking, jogging, bicycling and swimming opportunities. And for your convenience there are shopping, restaurants and theatres within easy walking distance of the resort.
Rated as one of the top 5-Star destination resort among all of the Interval International and RCI properties, Kona Coast II offers its guests a vacation experience like none other. The resort itself is situated on 21 acres of some of Hawaii’s most beautiful and prized real estate, with each tastefully appointed condominium strategically located to take full advantage of the panoramic views of the ocean at your doorstep. The grounds are lush with tropical foliage and meticulously groomed by an expert team of gardeners to truly immerse you in the Hawaiian experience as you relax and enjoy the real Hawaii. Watch the waves, listen to the surf, view the scenic lava tube “blow-hole” spout high into the air, and enjoy breathtaking sunsets as you bask in the warm sun, soak up the rays at the pool’s edge or simply relax on your private lanai.
About the Big Island Of Hawaii
The Big Island of Hawaii is the largest of all the Hawaiian Islands. In fact it is larger than all the other islands put together. It is also the most diverse. It has 11 of the worlds 13 climactic zones. Everything from tropical to sub-arctic zones can be found here. The top of Mauna Kea is 13,796 feet high and with Mauna Loa are the only places in Hawaii that snows. The east side of the island is lush and green, filled with beautiful vegetation and waterfalls. This is also where Hilo is located. The second largest city in Hawaii is also considered the wettest in the U.S. Just to the southwest of Hilo is Volcanoes National Park. It is open 24 hours a day every day of the year. Kilauea has been erupting continuously since 1983 and is truly a wonder to behold. On the west side is Kailua-Kona and the Kohala coast. This is where the sunny resort side of the island is. The Kohala coast has some of the most beautiful luxury resorts in the world where the quaint village of Kailua-Kona is home to some of the most spectacular sunsets anywhere. This is also where most of the fun things to do are located. Luau’s, Snorkeling, diving, air tours, world class sportfishing, you can find it all in Kailua-Kona.
On your next visit to the resort, be sure to bring your tennis rackets or just stop by 'Splash' for a loaner racket and enjoy a game or two on the newly resurfaced courts. Currently under construction, is a new Tennis Pro Shop. It is located next to the tennis courts within the present pavilion.
