  Mr. Wadsworth's property is a gorgeous one- my 11 friends and I were stunned at the magnitude of beauty at this estate.. from everything of the decked out kitchen, to the luxurious space, to the steamin' hot tub- we had an absolute blast. I would stay here again in a heart beat!!

  We had two families of four that had a vacation that we will never forget. The house was wonderful and very spacious. Everything we wanted and more was there for us to use. The three bedrooms and the loft allowed for all the kids to have their own beds, and there was plenty of room for more kids. The beds were very comfortable after our nightly hot tub cocktail hour(s). The house was in the village yet very private. The heated garage was large enough for us to fit our 2 full size trucks with plenty of room to spare. Thank you for allowing us to rent your home. It is beautiful. We will return. Especially if we can have the same weather next time. 50-60 degrees and great snow. Tyler, owner, and Missy, the locate caretaker, were very easy and helpful to work with.

  My family (seven adults with in-laws) rented this house in late March and we had a terrific experience. The house is not ski-in or ski-out but it sits up on the mountain near the ski area and has killer views of the town and valley. Transportation to the ski mountain is simple: drive to the free public lot, park, catch the free shuttle bus to the gondola. The house is big and beautiful with nice finishes but simply furnished and decorated so you feel at home. The kitchen is huge and well-furnished and it is easy to prepare big family meals. The owner has prepared detailed written instructions for all of those crazy things like lighting the gas fireplace, working the power blinds and ceiling fans, making the TV and stereo work, etc. There is a wonderful deck on the front or west side of the home which looks out over the valley; there is a private patio in the back of the home against the mountainside for the hottub (very clean and easy to operate) and the gas grill. Double garage is easy to use and very large. Wonderful master bedroom with large bathroom and walk in closet. There was one drawback but it turned out to be slight and that is why I explain it here because it is not a reason to not rent this home. There is no internet connection. Although this seems odd for a home this nice and given the requirements of today's world, its enhances the serenity of the home and there are several work-arounds, including coffee shops in town with free Wifi and best of all the public library at the west end of town which is a delight: free and fast Wifi, killer views from the second floor overlooking the Yampa River, nice staff, and plenty of parking. My wife and I worked at the library for a few hours each day and it was a good experience. Finally, I have rented many VRBO properties and have a range of experience with owners. The owner of this home was by far the easiest to work with and among the most responsive. I have no doubt that had there been any problem during our stay it would have been addresses quickly and effectively. We would return to this home in a heartbeat!

  We had a great time staying here for a 4 night vacation, but wish we could have stayed longer. The pictures on this listing do not do the house justice. IT WILDLY EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS. 5 of our 7 person party came to Steamboat to Ski while the other 2 (one adult 6 months pregnant and 1 child under 2 years old) were just there to relax. We cooked in all nights except the last and stayed up playing games, watching movies and lounging on the deck. The deck has an amazing view over steamboat that we watched fireworks from for the 100th annual Winter Carnival. One of my favorite features of this amazing house was the music system. When cooking dinners in the main dinning area, BBQing or soaking in the Hot Tub outside, we were also able to listen to music thanks to the speakers wired through the house. At first I didn't notice them but after I did it only took a minute to plug our iPad or any other music device in and enjoy anywhere in the house. Also, having a garage that fit a F150 and a Tundra comfortably was a bonus. The owner and caretaker were accommodating and responsive before during and after the rental. Steamboat received 10 inches of fresh snow on our day of departure, so we called to see if we could delay checkout. Missy and Tyler told us to have fun and not to worry about leaving the house until we got a full day of skiing in. This house is now my first option for any future Steamboat trips. With 3 couples and a child we had more than enough space if anyone wanted quiet/private time, but for our next stay I would not hesitate to bring another couple and 2 - 4 kids.

  This place is unbelievable. Spacious, relaxing, best views and stocked with all the things you need to have an amazing time. Hats of to Tyler for an easy and pleasant renting experience. We could not have asked for a better place. We are already thinking about how to get back next year......

  This is an above average rental for Steamboat Springs. We had a great time and the house has plenty of room for bringing a family together. The owner is very honest and responsive. The caretake is very responsive as well and everyone tried to make sure our stay was perfect. I would recommend this house.

  Our family of 8 Adults and an infant thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and comfortable home. The view is absolutely gorgeous! Kitchen was great with very nice equipment in every category. Bedding and furniture all comfortable. Convienient location. Owner was plesant and helpful. Decor was beautiful, but not cluttered. No Internet access or wifi. The only TV is in the lowest level with den and a bedroom. Satellite TV and sound system a bit difficult to use. Only three bedrooms but plenty of space and comfortable bedding with a futon and extra mattresses if you need to sleep more than 8.

  We came up to steamboat for the weekend and loved the house! The house is beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. Plenty of room to spread out, enjoy the views, and relax by the fire. This house is the top most one on the hill (no neighbors near by or above the house) so we enjoyed the private hot tub behind the house. The owner and caretakers were great to deal with and very responsive to requests or questions, I highly recommend this place, and would go back in a heartbeat!

  ...is sitting on this deck, or in the great room, with a fire going, looking out over the Yampa valley. Listing is accurate, may not do it justice. This property is extraordinary. Perfectly situated with the Routt National Forest as your back yard! Great open floor plan with a kitchen and master suite to die for.
