2013 RENOVATION!!- new kitchen cabinets, granite countertops, and 'hardwood' flooring on main living area. New doors and windows. Shower added to 1/2 bath in queen bedroom. New dock, fishcleaning table and 2 outside showers added in 2013.- new bulkhead in 2012.
Try superb BREEZE BAY. After hard days on the water, the manicured lawn, concrete drive, underhouse entry, locking storage and bulkhead are welcome sights to all guests. The ground level offers perfect access to boating, fishing, kayaking, kiteboarding, paddleboarding, and windsurfing. Please don't forget the excellent crabbing. The first level entry has a utility area with a frontloading washer and dryer, laundry sink and bait fridge. The 2nd living level has 3 bedrooms (queen, queen, 2 bunks), a full bath, and a private bath( shower, sink and toilet) in the one of the queen bedrooms. All bedrooms have access to 270 degrees of outside decking. The upstairs great room is a vacation charmer with tall ceilings, and a full bath. Prepare great meals in the well-equipped kitchen and serve them with panache at the breakfast bar, 8-person dining table, game/card table or out on the water view sundecks. Count on BREEZE BAY to be well and comfortably furnished. The 4th Bedroom (King) has an adjacent full bath. All days should end in BREEZE BAY's sun room with bubbly hot tub. A 4th level majestic sundeck will satisfy sun lovers.
Breeze Bay is a member of the Klub Koru GOLD club which gives renters UNLIMITED visits to the Klub Koru OCEANFRONT pool as well as unlimited visits to the Koru gym. Klub Koru also offers spa services. Klub Koru is located next to the Avon Fishing Pier.
Breeze Bay is an updated house which is nicely furnished with leather furniture in the great room. The kitchen is well equipped for large families. A propane grill is a nice amenity for cooking seafood or your favorite cut of meat.
Kayaks are provided so you can explore the waterways on the unblemished Pamlico Sound.
The beaches on Hatteras Island are among the best in the world. They offer some of the best fishing and surfing on the east coast. Fishermen can try their luck at the famous Cape Point. Surfers can catch the best waves on the east coast at the CapeHatteras Light House, the famous 'S' turns, or the Frisco Pier. Windsurfers and Kiteboarder can catch the breezes at the famous Canadian Hole, Kite Point, or any of the many unspoiled miles of coastline on Hatteras Island.
Breeze Bay is managed by Shore Details. Shore Details offers a complimentary Concierge's service. They also offer linen service for a modest fee, which will be delivered to the house.

The house was in great condition when we got there. There was plenty of space for our small group. The views were amazing. It's close to the Food Lion for groceries, and there are many restaurants near by. It's close to beach access on both the ocean side and sound side. If you're up for some kayaking on the sound side, you can head out from the dock behind the house. The weather didn't cooperate for our planned fishing trip in the Outer Banks, but that just meant the hot tub got plenty of use. We're looking forward to staying at Breeze Bay again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We are repeat visitors to Breeze Bay. If you want a perfect spot to watch the sunset over the Pamlico Sound then the roof deck is for you. If you want your own dock that leads straight to the sound, then the house's long dock is perfect for your boat or kayak and it is perfect to fish or crab. If you want a house with lots of rooming options and ample bathrooms, then this house is for you. If you want a house that DOESN'T have the cheesy and worn 80s beach furniture look and old appliances, then this house's updated furniture and furnishings are for you. This house had everything we needed in the well stocked kitchen. It had a fish cleaning table, outdoor showers, even a separate fridge for bait. It had a great LCD TV in the family room and a modern washer and dryer. Everything was up-to-date. It also had a grass yard with a picnic table, gas grill, covered parking underneath and a lock up for our beach stuff. Avon is the perfect town on Hatteras Island. It has a Food Lion, movie theater, Dollar Tree, DQ, and plenty of local restaurants and local shops. We love avoiding the rat race of Nags Head yet there is still plenty to do in this town to keep us busy. Highly recommend and we will return again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

What a great time! Fishing, driving on the beach, etc! Nice and not crowded area. Not too far from Kitty Hawk shopping / dining and Jockey's Ridge.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This house was truly the best of both worlds. Great views and access to the beach was only a short distance away. The house was very well maintained and there were great places to eat and shop close by. We can't wait to go back to Avon and stay at Breeze Bay!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

About the owner: We started coming to the Avon, NC in the mid 1970's. At that time, there was only a handful of realtors and one restaurant on Avon. As fate might have it... I lost my glasses in the surf. There was not a telephone in the house we were renting, so I had to go to a real estate office to use their phone. I jokingly asked, ' do you have any property to sell'. Breeze Bay was built in 1994. After many years of hard work and continous updating, Breeze Bay is our pride and joy. We hope you will love it as much as we do.
Why the Owner Chose Avon:
The Outer Banks is unique. Most people think only of the ocean when they come to the OBX. We LOVE the beach too, and go almost every day we are here. What makes Breeze Bay great is it's location. We have a GREAT lot with 150 feet of bulk head, with a manicured lawn up to the edge of the bulkhead. This allows for many water activities such a Kayaking ( 2 are provided) fishing, crabbing, paddle boarding, and windsurfing/kite boarding. The lawn is designed to complement the bulkhead, giving Breeze Bay and additional area for outdoor recreation. Enjoy picnics and outdoor games on the water's of the Pamlico Sound.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The 'Widow Watch' deck on the 4th floor gives panoramic 360 degrees views of beautiful Hatteras Island. The Hot Tub is a great way to relax while enjoying the beach atmosphere.
