The nearest restaurant is in Mazzolla and is called Albana, this little trattoria is run by Giuseppe and his wife and serves typical good Tuscan food out on their terrace in the piazza of this town. Volterra, 15km away is dotted with restaurants and pizzeria, together with a number of gelateria. By far the best restaurant in the area is to be found in the wine making hamlet of Guercero (Val di Cecina) La lucanda del sole is run by Rita and her daughter Rachele. Here one finds home cooking at its best with a large variety of amazing anti pasti, homemade pasta dishes and main courses. Eating here is a must.
