My wife and I stayed at this quaint villa for a month and we can highly recommend it without hesitation! It was comfortable, quiet and scenic with the added bonus that the owners were extremely accessible and ready to help should anything arise. Communication was great and we were always comfortable right from initial contact right through booking and all during our stay. The decor is tasteful, the king size bed and bedding were really comfortable and we had everything we needed for cooking, cleaning and laundry. Wish we could ahve stayed longer! They are doing things right. Enjoy your stay!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Mick and Gloria--We certainly are glad that y'all enjoyed the villa. The weather seemed miserable for some of the time you were here but I think y'all made the best of it. We appreciated the care you took our villa while staying in it. We hope next time travels bring you to our area, that you will stay with us again.

Celebrating our anniversary away we decided to visit somewhere we have never been. We frequent the Smoky Mountains annually and chose this villa for our stay. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this villa. It is clean, comfortable, well stocked, affordable and nicely decorated. The owners were so easy to communicate with and provided so much information regarding the area. It snowed during our stay! The scenic view of the snow covered mountains from the terrace of this villa were spectacular. The only thing wrong this our visit.. was we wished we could have stayed longer! We hope to return again.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Ginger--so glad that you and your husband had a nice anniversary getaway. Thank you for the nice complements on the villa. We certainly hope to see you again in the future! Wishing you and your husband many more happy anniversaries!

My husband and I enjoyed a weekend getaway to Franklin so we could see a show at Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts. Staying in this lovely villa was so much more comfortable than a hotel room! It was clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the quiet of the area, roaming around the mountains, looking at beautiful waterfalls....it was all great!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Vanessa--thanks so much for the review. We are glad you and your husband enjoyed the villa and the surrounding area. We hope you will come back again and be able to stay longer next time.

My wife and I rented this lakefront villa as a nineteenth anniversary gift to ourselves. When we were married we honeymooned in Highlands because we love the mountains and my wife loves waterfalls. Over the years we've returned to Highlands several times but over the years Highlands has become much more crowded and more costly. This year we decided to return to the mountains for the fall leaves but we decided to get away from the crowds and high costs of Highlands. We selected the lakefront villa because it was in the same general area but was more reasonably priced. We found this little villa to be just what we were looking for. It was spacious, clean, private and furnished in a very comfortable way. The king size bed was comfortable and overlooked a mountain lake. The furniture included a leather couch that was very comfortable and an antique, round, claw foot dining room table. A gas fireplace added to the comfort of a fall rental in the mountains. We enjoyed the screened in back porch for morning sunrises and evening sunsets. The villa is in a gated community, nestled between beautiful mountains. If peace and quiet is what you are looking for at a reasonable price, the villa at 62A is a great choice. We are already talking about going back and staying longer.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you for the review, Danny. We are so glad that you enjoyed your time at our villa. We look forward to having you back again.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2009
About the owner: We purchased this villa as our vacation getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. We came to love the area so much, that we purchased a permanent home and moved to to Franklin in June of 2012.
Why the Owner Chose Franklin:
We love sitting on the screen porch overlooking the small lake and having that morning cup of coffer as we watch the fog lift off the lake. We enjoy that afternoon glass of wine as the geese fly in for the evening. We love the ring of mountains surrounding the villa and the serenity and quietness of it ALL!
The Unique Benefits at this Villa:
Absolutely one of the safest areas you will ever visit. Residents of Mill Creek Country Club leave their doors open and windows up. The country club is a gated community and you will feel safe at all times.
