The word serendipity was formed by English author Horace Walpole (1717-1797) from Serendip, an old name for Sri Lanka, in reference to a Persian tale, The Three Princes of Serendip, whose heroes 'discovered, quite unexpectedly, great and wonderful good in the most unlikely of situations, places and people.'

It features air hockey, table soccer, ping-pong, and a dart board. Outdoor games such as volley ball set, horseshoes, and croquet are included. The indoor entertainment room features a 32 inch TV with satellite and Nintendo Wii. The guest cottage has an additional TV with satellite. With an attention to detail rarely found in vacation rentals, you will be mightily impressed with the high standards to which other homes can only aspire.

Hands down the best Vacation rental home I have ever stayed in. We have been renting houses in the Fort Bragg area for 18 years and this is by far the best. The house has everything you can imagine and more. The outside has enough room to play volleyball, horseshoes etc. Seaside beach was so wonderful. Every bed was so comfortable. This house is perfect for large groups and the layout still allows for privacy when you want it. We can not wait to go back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: I am the owner of Shoreline Vacation Rentals in Fort Bragg. 2012 marked our 26th year in business. Paul and Marie purchased this home and immediately set about furnishing it to satisfy the most discriminating travelers. They had an eye toward creating an environment that would be ideal for families. The house is set up for a carefree and stylish vacation where you won't have to worry about traffic.
