  Everything about the house was perfect for our guy's trip to Isle of Palms. The owner was a pleasure to work with and the house was even better than described. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed. With 3 levels and a living room on each level, the house was very spacious and everyone was able to have their own space. The house is in a great location and is only a very short walk to the beach and some restaurants on Isle of Palms. In addition, Sullivans Island was only a few minutes by car while downtown Charleston was about a 20 minute drive. I would recommend the house to friends and would rent again.

  If location is everything in real estate, then this house has it in spades. Just across the street from beach access, and only a few blocks from "downtown" IOP, it would be tough to be better located. If you are looking at IOP, you already know how convenient it is to Charleston. The house itself is very spacious, well appointed, and the pictures do not do it justice. Finishes are spot on beach cottage: very nice, without being fussy or pretentious. The house veritably whispers, no worries- just relax and enjoy your time here. It is laid out on three levels with a great master and lounge up top, kitchen, living room and two bedrooms on the mid, and a third lounge and two bedrooms on the ground floor. Each level has a full bath. If I were an architectural guru, I'd guess it was once an upstairs/ downstairs 4 bed 2 bath duplex that got a third floor and major renovations after a good bashing by Hurricane Hugo. The three levels were great for us, as we could separate enthusiastic vacationers from sleeping babies. There are multiple DVD players, which has become somewhat "critical" for keeping small kids occupied, so mom and dad can relax a bit. The deck facing the ocean was also a great place to soak up some late fall rays. If you go, make sure to check out Windjammer, Poe's on Sullivan's, and historic Fort Moultrie. If you have small kids, take them to the fantastic IOP recreation center and playground. And there is always plenty to do and enjoy in Charleston. Thanks Sea Nook!

  We had a guys weekend with old college friends. There was a ton of room for all 14 people to sleep. This is the perfect place to stay if you're looking for a good deal on a big place right next to the beach. For anyone that isn't familiar with the area and is looking to go into Charleston at night, it is a bit of a ride to Charleston (cab ride ~$50). Beach was not crowded when we went, perfect if you want quiet beach time or room to spread out with a group. The owners are responsive and accommodating.

  Sea Nook was a perfect spot for our ladies weekend at the beach. The location relative to the beach is fantastic. We only drove to pick up supplies once at the beginning of the weekend, and didn't have any need for vehicles the rest of the time. The house was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Ample seating for dinner for the large group inside, and plenty of seating out on the deck for enjoying the ocean breezes. Separate living spaces on each floor would work well for families with kids, and I was pleased that they were still spacious enough for us all to be in one area as a group. Overall a great house in a great location!

  Just returned from a wonderful long weekend at Sea Nook. We had a large group–eight adults and three kids–and there was room to spare. Great ocean views from the porch and with the beach access just across the street, you're practically beach front. The location in relation to the retail/restaurant district is great, too. Perfect beach house! Hope to be back soon!

  We had an amazing time at the house. Not only was it across from the beach, but it also had plenty of living and sleeping space! We would definitely rent the house again if we came down to Charleston!

  Our family has been coming to IOP for six years for the Cooper River Bridge Run, and this is now our favorite home rental by far! The owners were so responsive to my questions and made sure we had everything we needed. The home is perfectly centrally located on the island and is steps from the beach. We had 3 families: 6 adults and 4 kids and loved having the first floor area for the kids to get away. The house was immaculate and had wonderful bed linens that were a nice suprise. The kitchen was extremely well stocked; we were thrilled to have the stove top griddle for pancakes after the race. One of the other families we stayed with already asked me to make sure to book this home again for next year. Thanks!

  We rented Sea Nook for a late September family wedding. Our group of 13 included grandparents, adult children, and teenage grandchildren. Visiting Sea Nook reminded us of staying at a friend's beach cottage. This clean, comfortable house is well laid out on 3 levels, so there is adequate sleeping and relaxing space for all age groups. Our teenagers took over the ground level with its extra fridge, TV and game/lounge area. Sea Nook is located on a corner lot across from public beach access, and within a short walk of local shops. The owners were very responsive and helpful with all our questions and also quickly resolved a few minor issues during our stay. We'd recommend Sea Nook to family groups or groups of friends who want a well equipped, homey rental. Isle of Palms is a quiet beach community and Mt. Pleasant and Charleston are nearby for sightseeing, shopping, sports and restaurants.

  Five couples stayed for 5 nights at sea nook and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was well maintained, clean and comfortable. Very large deck in front of the house facing ocean was our meeting place for most of the time. Kitchen was well equipped. House is at beach walk path and the shops are close to walking distance. There is a hot water shower outside the house for shower as well as to wash sand off your feet.Hot water outside to wash feet is an excellent amanity. There are few beach chairs for guest to use. We enjoyed our stay and we strongly recommond others to rent this home.
