About the owner: I am an attorney and my wife is an artist/photographer and writer. We designed and built this home to provide a quiet serene setting that affords maximum privacy. The home is open and airy and filled with paintings, photographs and sculpture that we have collected over the years.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes:
Austin is a magical place in Texas. The vibe is good, the culture young and hip, the music scene is world re-known. I have lived here since 1966 and watched it grow from a small town to a major city. I always wanted a place where beauty and quiet would reign yet be accessible to the high energy that the town has.

The property is located in the middle of an older established neighbor but the property consists of six beautiful hilly wooded acres of land. This is almost unheard of in a developed urban environment. As soon as you enter the property you see nothing but trees and abundant wildlife. Deer are common as are many species of birds, including an owl that nests on the property. The home is beautifully sited on the edge of a cliff and is the essence of tranquility.
