This house was constructed in 2010 and has all the amenities that make you feel at home. It comfortably sleeps six people. The master suite is upstairs. It consists of the master bedroom, sitting area, walk in closet and bathroom. The master bedroom has a king size bed. The second bedroom is downstairs. It has a walk in closet and is spacious, with two queen size beds. The kitchen is loaded with stainless steel appliances and has all the small appliances necessary for your eating needs. Dining areas and living area is located off the kitchen area. The second bathroom is located on the main floor and is accessible to the bedroom and living areas. We also have a washer and dryer. There is a screened porch for enjoying nice evening relaxation. Our home also has a gas grill for our guests to use. Granite counter tops and travertine tile provide low maintenance relaxation for you.

The house is just as described in the ad. We stayed 3 nights and it was exactly as we'd hoped. It is very close to a national forest which has hiking, biking, and fishing. The house is up for sale so use it while you can!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

THE PROPERTY WAS FABULOUS AND PERFECT FOR OUR STAY! ADEQUATE ROOM FOR ALL, WITH SPACIOUS BEDROOMS, BATHROOMS, KITCHEN & RELAXATION AREAS. THE VIEWS OF THE LAKE WERE WONDERFUL.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful time and hope we are allowed to stay again. Beautiful view and very peaceful. Rick is a very hospitable and accommodating owner, The water is a steep walk, but the dock had plenty of water in a very low lake.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

This home is beautiful and has all required amenities. The lot is very steep however. The owner was very cordial and responded promptly to our inquiries.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway.

About the owner: My wife and I purchased the property six years ago and built the current house two year ago. We live across the Savannah River, in Evans, GA, about 20 minutes from the lake house. We don't use the property as often as we did when the kids were in high school, so we decided to allow others to enjoy the peaceful relaxation we enjoy while at the house.
Why the Owner Chose Modoc:
Our property is located at the point where the Savannah River and Little River come together. It offers great views of the lake and the Thurmond Dam. Not many neighbors so you can enjoy a peaceful vacation.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We purchased this property because it allow us the opportunity to get away to a peaceful, relaxed environment while being close to town if we need something in a pinch. The Evans WalMart is only 20 minutes away.
