Every minute of our time spent in this cozy cabin was wonderful! Our children loved all the fun things to do in and around Murphy (especially the gem mining). Dining out was great, but we much more enjoyed grilling at the cabin! The full kitchen and wide variety of cookware made eating in so convenient! There was more than enough room for us 4 adults and 2 children. And we all loved playing board games at night on the beautiful kitchen table! Our favorite time of day there was sunset...sitting on the beautiful porch, with the mountains as a backdrop, sitting around a fire and taking a dip in the jacuzzi! We couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable stay! Thank you!! We will be back soon!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! Thanks for taking the time to post a review. Welcome back soon!

To start, your cabin is breath-taking; absolutely stunning! We immediately felt at home. Your delightful welcome package was much appreciated. The combination of the absolute cozy atmosphere, the amazing view, the nature to cure our souls was astounding. Being here just the first night- all,of us- the stress just MELTED AWAY! I want to thank you, in words that I cannot seem to being together, for how much this cabin, Bumble Bee Cabin, really has done for us so far in our stay here. This is truly super blurb :) JessDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

The cabin feels like home. Recommend Vogel State Park in Blairsville- you can walk around a beautiful lake, or take a walk in the woods. We'll definitely come back!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was perfect and the little neighborhood very quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed ringing in the new year in Brasstown! It rained on the drive from Birmingham & is raining for the drive back. However, the weather was absolutely beautiful otherwise. Thank-you, again, for sharing your wonderful cabin. have a blessed New Year!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This little cabin was everything I hoped for. Private, clean, comfortable, and a good price. Enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings, as well as playing board games on the floor in front of the fireplace. Beds were super comfortable...haven't slept that well in a long time. But it was the extra touches that made us feel special. The decorated Christmas tree, the little bag of 'gifts' including dog treats, and the feeling of being 'Home' that made this getaway a place I will return to. It was far enough from town, but still convenient to shopping and site seeing. So quiet and peaceful. I have no complaints, but I did have some trouble parking my truck in front of the cabin, so I parked up in the flat area at the top of the driveway.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Our little corner of the mountain is, indeed, a peaceful retreat. Thanks for staying with us! Remember...we have a special discount for return guests! Ken & Cindy

What a serene and relaxing weekend!!! Bumble Bee Cottage was the perfect getaway- plenty of hiking options, time in the hot tub & copying up by the fire. The cabin has everything ready- just bring clothes and enjoy. Being here with my love made everything perfect- our bond grew stronger as we made time to enjoy each other in this peaceful place. Thank you-Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Bumble Bee. We were actually surprised that the cabin was larger than we thought it would be. The place was very clean and we enjoyed using the hot tub. We celebrated our Thanksgiving there and could have used a few more cooking utensils put managed. We had trouble with our truck battery and the owner was quick to help get us started. The owners are very nice. We enjoy visiting Murphy every year and really like the Daily Grind. We can't hardly wait until our next visit. We would highly recommend Bumble-Bee.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Thanks for you kindness! We are always just a few minutes away- ready to help in any way we can. Thanksgiving at the cabin! What fun! Ken & Cindy

I have rented from VRBO numerous times and this was by far the best experience I have had. The Cabin was goregous and extremely clean. We were welcomed with a welcome package and a 12 pack of bottled water. The cabin had everything we needed, all we needed to bring bring was our clothes. We had a wonderful relaxing week and will be back next year!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Our goal is provide our guests with a peaceful and rejuvenating experience. We take pride in our little "extras", realizing that each time we reach out in unexpected ways we leave a positive impression! Please keep us in mind on your next trip to the Smokies!
