In the back garden, you can revive yourself showering under the deep blue sky while enjoying the scarlet bougainvillea climbing up the old Banyan tree nearby.
This completely private shower has hot and cold water with room for two. The three patios curving around the lawn provide sun and shaded areas to watch the hummingbirds and twits drinking nectar from the bright flowers of the garden.

Jasmine is my absolute favorite place to be! You simply forget the rest of the world while you're there. I really do love working on Jasmine, turning it into my island dream house. Transformation began the day we bought it. I've spent many, many happy hours over the last 14 years wielding my paint brush and tools while singing (poorly, I might add) to my tapes, CDs and now my ipod. I'm still working on it and always will. Jasmine is my creative outlet and makes me happy.
I wish everyone going to Jasmine to have to best vacation ever and I really do enjoy sharing my lovely little island gem with others. Over the years I've really enjoyed communicating with all the fun, interesting people I get to know through renting. It's rewarding to help make vacations stress-free fun. As I always say, be that lazy islander inside you. You just have to take him to Eleuthera and let him out.
Why the Owner Chose Governor's Harbour
We found many islands on our 10 year search for an island home but there was always something that didn't feel right. Eleuthera's people make it a wonderful island. The island is beautiful but so are the people. Five minutes in Jasmine and I knew this was my house, my island. It was just perfect for my island dream house and I've been in love with Jasmine and Eleuthera ever since. The Bahamas are so close and I've seen many oceans and beaches but never any water colors as beautiful. I've NEVER seen any beach with such soft, silky sand. With the rolling green hills around Governor's Harbour, it's just the perfect location for an island home.
The Unique Benefits of this Villa
Eleuthera is 110 miles long but may only be a half mile wide in some areas. The estate runs from the Caribbean to the Atlantic Ocean. You may walk or drive to either side of the island. Jasmine is on the Atlantic side where the beach is. The boat ramp and coral caves on the water are on the Caribbean side. There's good snorkeling and fishing near the boat ramp as fish love the coral walls and outcrops. There's a beautiful, new, freshwater swimming pool on the estate as well. There are no houses right on the estate's Atlantic beach therefore it's more private than some other areas. Jasmine has plenty of outdoor living with the four private patios out back in the gardens. The unique, large, outdoor shower is such a tropical delight with the flowers all around and the old Banyan tree next to it. I arrange vehicle rentals at a discounted rate for my guests as well as taxis to and from the airport.
