THE COTTAGE is a private 2nd floor apartment quarters in a 2 story cottage home in the heart of Wellesley Island in the Thousand Islands.
Inside you will find 2 bedrooms, living room, full kitchen, full bathroom, and sitting area overlooking the lovely Lake of the Isles. The whole inside is brand new and beautiful! The master bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a sofa that folds out to a queen bed. There is another pull-out sofa in the sitting area too, also a queen. The brand new bathroom features a beautifully tiled Travertine shower. A full kitchen is ready for you with a huge peninsula for casual dining and entertaining! Eat your breakfast overlooking the water! The kitchen is equipped with all the utensils and pots and pans you will need, as well as a coffee maker and toaster. Please bring your own bedsheets and towels. Housekeeping services are not included.
Outside you will find your own upper deck area with grill provided for outdoor cooking. There is also a private ground level deck and dock for your suntanning, swimming, and boating desires.

Our weekend at the cottage was the first weekend that the cottage was reopened after the extensive remodeling job so we were the first to experience all it has to offer. I will say that the pictures do not do it justice. In person it is much more magnificient and the views are breath taking. It is a wonderful feeling to wake up in the morning and just see water while you have your coffee. The way the accomodations are set up is very user friendly. Everything has been pre meditated to make sure that you have what you need when and where you need it. We found that we really didn't need to bring most of the stuff we brought as everything was already there and all brand new. The only thing we did need were our towels and sheets (which I prefer to have my own anyways). The host was very gracious and made sure we were happy at all times. We didn't have a bot but there is a separate dock you can use if you bring one. I would stay there again and most likely will book a vacation there again next summer.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
