Perfect family get-away!
Perfect family get-away!
I was pleasantly surprised when I found a rental home in Olathe, only a few miles away from my sister; but was astonished by the home when we arrived. We totaled 7, visiting Kansas for my nephews wedding. The home was spacious; immaculately kept and had all the comforts of “home”. It was stocked with many items that made life easier; coffee, creamer, sweetener, bottled water, fresh fruit and even mints to welcome us. The weather allowed us to enjoy the beautiful landscaped yard and my young adult children played basketball in the drive. This truly is a “home” away from home. The hosts take care to make sure their guest want for nothing.

We were so blessed to stay 5 nights in this home while on vacation for a family reunion. Every questions I made to the owner before, during and after our stay was promptly answered, and the rental process was seamless and easy. The entire time I felt like I was staying in the home of a friend or a family member. Everything we needed was there, the home was comfortable and peaceful and in a great location. The grocery store is a short walk away, as well as restaurants and small stores. A short walk to the west and there is a park and a elementary school with playgrounds which were great for letting my young children run around and burn off some energy. The home is a short drive away from many restaurants, a mall, the interstate, and a great outdoor pool complex (Black Bob Bay), which was also great for the kids. The home itself was very clean both inside and out. When we entered the home there was a big bowl of fresh fruit, cold bottled water in the refrigerator, fresh cut flowers in vases, lights were turned on, and everything was clean and ready for us to use. The backyard was my favorite part with 3 large shady trees and plenty of room to run. It was very quiet and peaceful and a great place to rest and relax. We were glad to have a garage as well to park our van in. Overall there is nothing I would have changed about the experience. Charlene and her husband do a great job keeping the house clean and ready for guests. Their warmth and joy as hosts is evident and I don't ever want to stay anywhere else in the Olathe area!

What a welcoming home! A true blessing to all who stay there! This 4 bedroom home was just perfect for our family! The home is very clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the space was very sufficient. We had 8 people in the home and this worked out perfectly for our family get-together. The large dining room accommodated all of us to sit and chat or eat meals as a family. The kitchen had everything we needed to make and serve our meals! This VRBO had everything we needed plus some, which made our stay enjoyable and comfortable. They went above and beyond our expectations. We have been staying at VRBOs for a few years now and this one had to be the most welcoming home we have ever stayed at! All the little extra touches made our stay very comfortable and inviting. The Grocery store is within walking distance as well as a couple places to eat and shop. The back patio was very quaint and a nice place to enjoy the outdoors. This home is located in a very safe and friendly neighborhood. Having this home available was a true blessing for our family! We hope to come back to Olathe and we definitely will try to stay in this beautiful home once again! Thank-you so much for your wonderful hospitality! It was definitely a good time had by all!

Our family was visiting the Kansas City area for Christmas and a family wedding. We were thankful to have this comfortable and clean home where we could all stay together. The house was decorated nicely for Christmas (thanks for the lovely Christmas tree!), and we were pleasantly surprised by the candy, fruit, and water bottles waiting for us. The house was amply stocked with paper goods, towels, and kitchen items. The large dining room table was great, making it possible for our large family to eat every meal at the same table at the same time! The home's location was convenient, and the neighborhood was quiet. The owner was prompt to answer our questions and helpful in making the arrangements. We will definitely stay here again the next time we need lodging in the Kansas City area.

My family had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful home for the week of Thanksgiving. Our son attends MNU and we were only 2 miles away. He was able to stay with us while he attended school and soccer. The house was so clean and furnished so well that we felt like we were right at home. We had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving getaway. An unexpected surprise was the walking/jogging Indian Creek Trail that was just a few blocks away. It is a beautiful trail with trees and bridges that goes on for at least 18 miles. There were restauarants and grocery stores very close by. We will stay there whenever we come to visit our son, it was so much better than a hotel! The owner's go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. They are very wonderful people and we would recommend this home to anyone needing to stay in this area.

"WOW!"Guest comment entered by owner
The home was prepared for us as if we were very close relatives or friends; clean, comfortable, and cozy. They had candy dishes filled and set out, and bottles of water in the fridge. I would recommend this home to everyone and we will stay here again. The spirit of hospitality was evident and we lacked nothing we needed! It is located close to major roads and highways for convenience, but tucked away enough for peace and quiet. This is truly a wonderful home to stay in! :)
