                    Very centrally located for anyone looking for a total immersion in SF city life. This is not a tourist neighborhood but a working neighborhood close to everything. Don't spend your whole time in the city waiting in traffic trying to get out of your tourist populated neighborhood when trying to see other areas. This location brings the sights and sounds of the city to you and is as easy to get around by foot as it is by car or public transport. Parking may be available for additional cost but free street parking is widely available (just keep track of time because of restrictions). Whole Foods is 7 blocks, Walgreens 2 blocks, Pizza and fast food 1 block, Gas 2 blocks, Coffee Cafes (you choose, Philz, Peets, Starbucks) less than 2 blocks, Performing Arts (Opera, Symphony, Ballet) 4 blocks, Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, Orpheum, The Fillmore, The Great American Music Hall, all less than 15 minutes walking distance. Neighborhoods by walking distance less than 20 minutes; Civic Center, BART, Marina, Cow Hollow, Russian Hill, Financial, SOMA, Union Square, Castro, Hayes Valley, Japan Town, Western Addition, Mission District. Get to these other locations in less than 30 minutes walking time or less than 10 minutes by taxi; Waterfront/Embarcadero, Fishersman's Wharf, Northbeach, China Town, The Presedio, AT&T Park, CALTRAN. Walking is a great way to see and learn the city if you have the time but a car is recommended if you are on a shorter stay and want to see and do a lot. You can find free street parking in my neighborhood and many of the residential neighborhoods in the city.                     The unit is in a great location with fantastic city views. Owner was very helpful with information on the surrounding area and restaurants. Would stay again without a second thought. Highly recommended.
