A great location and beautifully appointed condo! You can see the gondola from the living room window -- ski in/ ski out or a quick walk to the slopes. Access to the mountain via the Creekside Gondola was always quick and the small village at Creekside had all the necessities without the craziness of Whistler Village. The condo itself was immaculate with lots of space and amenities. Great kitchen, big dining table, comfy living space, and a private hot tub!! They even had fancy shampoo, conditioner, and lotions in the bathrooms. It felt like we were staying at a luxury resort. It was perfect for our group of 8. I would highly recommend and hope to be able to stay again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Thanks kp - we're pleased you enjoyed your stay. We find the Creekside Village very convenient too - lovely village atmosphere with everything you need - restaurants, market, pub, liquor store, ski hire and I love to browse around the little boutique home decor shop called Dream Merchants that is there. Regards, Susan & Harry

We had a wonderful experience during our recent five day stay at this property. The description and photos of the property accurately reflected the rental's appearance and amenities, which by the way were fantastic. The owners were prompt and helpful in answering all of our questions redgarding their property, as well as questions about activities, restaurants, etc. in Whistler. Without hesitation we would recommend this property to our friends and relatives. It was a great trip - Thank You!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Thank you for your comments Scott! We're glad you enjoyed your stay - we love going there ourselves whenever we can. We were pleased too, to be able to offer you the early check in - we try to offer early check in and late check out if we can so that our guests can make the most of their arrival and departure days! We hope to welcome you back when you next visit Whistler! Best wishes, Susan & Harry

The Taluswood Heights complex is beautiful and easy to access the Creekside Village and Gondola. The unit was well appointed and very comfortable for our group. This unit has everything you could want: Hot Tub, Gas Grill, Heated Garage to store equipment, laundry room. Definitely will look to rent this unit when we make it back to Whistler.Recommended for: Adventure seekers.

This was a well maintained property with all the modern conveniences. We were two families and it accommodated us well, especially the downstairs two bedrooms where the twin beds could be used apart or pushed together. The 3rd floor bedroom was small, but adequate and we knew that going in. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glassware, pots, pans, dish liquid, towels and salt, pepper, coffee filters, plastic storage containers and plastic and foil wrap. There is also laundry detergent. I'm only listing these because all the other places I've stayed at do not include these consumables. And it is just nice to not have to buy every little thing for a week's stay. Laundry baskets were great. Stunning views and only about 5 minutes to the Village. The hot tub was a plus. After going to the Westin for a spa day (which I would not recommend), it was nice to have our own private hot tub. Could use a few more games, like Scrabble. But all in all we had a great time.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: Thank you for your comments and suggestions Virginia - we are pleased you enjoyed your stay. We are there ourselves next week and will definitely stock up on a few more board games while we're there! Best regards, Susan

I have stayed at this property multiple times (winter and summer) with my family, and each time was fantastic. The views are absolutely stunning throughout the year, and the availability of ski-in/ski-out in winter makes for the best skiing holiday we've ever had. Relaxing on the deck with a beer (including in the hot tub) is great after a long day of adventures, and the cosy interior is great for watching the fire or playing board games. Harry & Sue are great hosts - really accommodating, and they've taken the time with small touches around the house to make the experience special. I would recommend this place to any of my friends as the combination of unique views, location, amenities and beautiful interior, means there's something for all different types of holidays. It's really just a beautiful place to relax, in a really great part of the world.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

I recently booked a weekend getaway up in Whistler at this townhouse location for a girls trip. The owner was incredibly helpful, and especially organized with providing multiple options of payment, specific directions to the location, and clear information on the property and cleaning services provided. We had 6 people stay in total, and there was more than enough room for everyone (spare room), and the layout of the townhouse made it feel even more spacious (multiple levels). Upon arrival, the house was clearly regularly maintained, and was incredibly clean. Even better, we had all the necessities/cookware/glassware readily available in the kitchen and around the house for us to use, great appliances too. Everything included in the townhouse, such as; hot-tub, fireplace, jacuzzi bathtubs, etc all worked great and had clear instructions on how to use each amenity. Even better the bathrooms were equipped with multiple towels, shampoos, conditioners and even blowdryers. If needed there is a washer and dryer available. The view was spectacular, at our morning brunch we had a clear sight of creekside mountain with all the skiers coming down. Taxi's into the village only cost about 12.00 dollars, and the drive into the village was about 4 minutes. We didnt find anything to be a negative about this location, even the garbage location dropoff is close to the property- which is a plus for Whistler, as you cannot leave garbage outside or in garages. At the time of our departure, it was a general consensus that everyone in our group would recommend this location, and plans on making future bookings. :)Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Thanks so much for your comments Marie – much appreciated and I’m so pleased to know that the things we’ve worked on do make a difference. We try to make sure the property is well maintained and has all the conveniences we like to have when we're on holidays. We have a wonderful housekeeper who looks after it she would her own. We have some new furniture arriving soon for the lounge and dining room, so if you decide to stay again next time you’ll find it even better. Susan

About the owner: Our family is spread out between Ontario Canada and Queensland Australia. Whistler is the perfect midway point for us to gather for family holidays. We have lived and worked in both Australia and Canada and love both countries. We have a passion for the Canadian mountains and snow, and couldn't live without the Australian beaches and surf. We first took our kids skiing in the Australian Alps many years ago and since then skiing and snowboarding have become favorite family holidays. When living in Canada we became acquainted with the ski fields in Ontario, the Laurentians in Quebec and the ski resorts of British Columbia. We have come to love Whistler and the BC Coastal Mountains. We hope you enjoy and love our home away from home in Whistler as much as we do! Susan & Harry Caelers
