A beautiful condo. Clean and well maintained. Great ammenities (boogie boards, chairs, towels, etc). Right by the beach, restaurants, shopping,etc. Located in a quiet complex with a pool and hot tub. The owners are easy to get ahold of and quick to respond. I would recommend this condo to all my family and friends. We will definitely be back!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We really enjoyed staying the the Kona Seaflower. It's a great location - so close to the beach near the Marriott Hotel, Ali'i Drive, a couple of supermarkets and the great fruit market. We had breakfast and dinner every day out on the patio so that we could watch the ocean. The apartment is very clean and is well supplied. And there's lots of great beach equipment. I'd definitely stay there again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We had a lovely stay at John and Joy's condo. Absolutely everything was provided to make the stay perfect. Wireless internet was easy and reliable (especially important to us) the kitchen was fabulously equipped and the beds were comfortable. It's location is very nice, an easy walk to downtown Kailua-Kona. The owners are super nice and conscientious and responsive to any need. Would highly recommend.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Our stay was really good. the condo was well equipped with all necessary amenities. Nice new linens, plenty of kitchen equipment ( all new and in good condition) and lots of extras- sports equipment, etc. Everything was clean and in order. The complex was at an excellent location , near to downtown and to the beach. We enjoyed all the open-air eating cafes facing the ocean-- perfect breakfast spots. ...I would certainly recommend this condo to anyone unless they had difficulty with stairs. The listing on this location was very accurate and the owner was very helpful.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Wonderful location! Very nicely appointed. Very well equipped. Very reasoably priced. Very clean and well maintained. Very hot in the upstairs bedroom - air conditioning just could not cool it down enough. Some product with a strong scent was used to freshen up the place. Made my allergies kick in.Recommended for: Tourists without a car.

Thank you so much for the amazing get away. My girlfriend and I had such an amazing time while on the island. Your place was perfect for us and we definitely didn't want to leave. We are already talking about coming again next year. My girlfriend kept commenting that it felt like a home away from home. Most of all thanks for all the information that you provided us regarding the island, restaurants, activities, and sites. KONA SEAFLOWER JOY AND LARRY KLEEFELD KAILUA BAY RESORT 75-5669 KUAKINI HWY., #2-303 Kailua-Kona, HI 96740 SHORT-TERM RENTAL AGREEMENT Thank you for choosing our home for your next Hawaiian vacation. We hope that you have a pleasant stay and return home safely with fond memories of your Kona adventure. This Short-Term Rental Agreement (the "Agreement") is made by and between Joy and Larry Kleefeld ("Homeowner") and Guest as of the date last set forth on the signature page of this Agreement. For good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is acknowledged, the parties hereby agree as follows: RENTAL RULES 1. Smoking is NOT allowed. 2. People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest. 3. All of the units are privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. 4. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order 5. Only use appliances for their intended uses. 6. Pets are NOT allowed. 7. Observe swimming pool hours and rules. 8. Avoid excessive noise of all types. Be especially considerate of your neighbors by reducing noise/volume levels before 8 a.m. and after 9 p.m. 9. Guests are NOT to store bicycles, scuba and diving gear, inflatable rafts, or water toys inside the units. These items can be stored on the Lanai or in one’s car. PARKING: For your convenience, you will have a designated parking space during your stay. Parking space # is 2-303, is clearly marked, and located just past Building 3 on the right. HOUSEKEEPING: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. If the premises appeared dirty or damaged upon check-in, guest shall inform homeowner immediately. CANCELLATION POLICY: If Guest wishes to cancel his/her reservation, the deposit will be refunded as follows: 75% if canceled greater than 60 days prior to the check-in date. No refund if cancellation is received less than 60 days prior to check-in date. Cancellations of less than sixty (60) days prior to arrival shall forfeit the entire rent and excise tax (less security deposit) unless we are able to re-rent the property. Refunds on any forfeiture will be issued the dollar value the unit is re-rented for during the same dates as the cancelled reservation. There is no refund for early departure or no shows. About the owner: Joy and Larry Kleefeld: Owning a piece of paradise in Hawaii has been a lifelong dream of ours and we are very happy to share our vacation home with you on your next Hawaiian vacation. We have 6 children, and 3 grandchildren. Joy volunteers at a local hospital. Larry is a chiropractor, looking at retirement on July 15, 2016. We are hoping to spend a good part of the year in Kona after retirement. We enjoy spending time with each other, family and friends, and our avid cyclists and snow sport enthusiasts.
