Sakinaw Lake Lodge is a beautifully styled lakefront cabin. And by lakefront, we mean the downstairs french doors open directly onto the dock. A few steps to the diving board and your morning swim awaits. And given that Sakinaw Lake is not only pristine, but also one of the warmest lakes in BC, it might be one of the best swims you'll ever have.
We could go on but honestly the pictures speak for themselves. Please take a look. Here's a quick rundown of the property layout: The upstairs of the cabin is about 800 square feet and features a fully equipped gourmet kitchen and large bathroom with shower and claw foot tub with lake view. Most of the front of the cabin is glass so there's lots of amazing lake and mountain view to take in. It's an open plan so there is a king size bed adjacent to the living room, but also a separate back bedroom with queen sized bed. The downstairs is 2 rooms and a small bathroom with shower that makes up about 500 square feet. One of the rooms has a queen sized bed and the other is set up as a living room with couch and sitting nook but the couch folds out into a very comfortable solid platform bed with memory foam mattress. Both rooms have the french doors opening onto the dock that we mentioned earlier. So with those 4 beds the cabin sleeps 8. If you have a larger group we also have the amazing Safari Tent on it's own deck with a private (and very cool) bathroom.
As for the outdoor space, there's an abundance of different spots to hang out. Lots of deck and dock space, a beautiful covered outdoor kitchen (with barbeque, gas stove, and fridge), not to mention the campfire area and outdoor hot tub, all with awesome lake views.
For a change of scenery, the property is 7 acres so there's lots of beautiful lush west coast forest to explore. And then within 15 minutes drive the Pender Harbour area features world class hiking, fishing, golf, horseback riding, artists, and restaurants. Two of the more notable attractions nearby are the Skookumchuck rapids, and boat cruises up the spectacular Princess Louisa Inlet.
