Wonderful stay in Sugarloaf Key! The pictures do not do this property justice. You will not find a more beautiful setting. Even though it rained the first week of our stay, we were still able to enjoy the beauty of the Keys from the wall of windows in the living area. Everything we needed was provided. Colette was available at all times for any questions. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Most of the time we were the only people around. Can't wait to go back next year!!

The first thing you see as you enter is the breathtaking view! To be able to wake up every day and look out over the open water with palm trees swaying is to know you are truely staying in paradise. We have rented many homes in Sugarloaf and have found one we would definitely return to. You can relax in the heated pool or hot tub while taking advantage of this spectacular view or swim, kayak, or snorkle from the dock. There are easily accessible paths for walking or biking and you are sure to meet a few locals on their daily walks. We rented bikes from Big Pine Key Bike Rentals and Marty is happy to deliver and pick up the bikes right to your door. We are usually a group of 6 adults and do most of our cooking at home as to enjoy the fresh seafood available locally and found most everything we needed at the house to create a nightly feast! It's probably good we did not discover the pies and pastries made daily at Sugarloaf Food Company, MM 24, until our last few days or we wouldn't have been able to fit into our long pants for the return up North. One of our favorite lunches was at Square Grouper and we always make our way to No Name Pub for pizza and a drink. All in all, one of our favorite trips and made better by the beautiful location and accommodating host Colette. Thanks for sharing your tropical home with us, we will most definitely be back!

If you're looking for a relaxing vacation, this is the property for you. It sits quietly on a bay in a neighborhood that is great for biking, kayaking, and walks. The house has a pool and a Jacuzzi which is great for the winter months when the weather is cooler. The home is inviting and comfortable and clean. The landlords were always quick to return our calls when we needed anything, We have six children and they never lacked for something to do, Would we go back? definitely!

We were very happy with our stay here. The pictures definitely don't do it justice. The living room was a lot bigger than expected. There was also a lot of room outside on the patio and in the cabana. If we stay in this area of the keys again, we won't need to look anywhere else for a place to rent. This is it.

This is a fabulous spot for a family get together. My family has stayed here every summer for 5 years and we are already counting the days to 2013. Young children and teenagers alike find this property wonderful and fishing from the dock always proves successful to the thrill of big folks and little folks alike. If you bring your boat, you can tie it up right on the property and just jump in an go whenever you wish - both the Atlantic and Gulf are within minutes. Everything - from the swimming pool, hot tub, screened porch, to the kitchen and bedrooms are beautifully kept and maintained..and if your teenager absolutely has to have Wi-Fi it's there, too. I know that you'll enjoy your stay as much as we do. As a grandmother, I am so pleased that this home is large enough to handle a yearly reunion that not a single family member has ever failed to attend, indeed they are already planning activities for the children and who will cook what meal during our reunion at Casa Verde in 2013. I know you will love this home just as we do.

My family and I had a wonderful time at this location!! We have been going to the Keys every year for several years and this was hands down the best view we've had!! Loved sitting on the covered porch every morning drinking coffee and looking over the bay. The house was very nice and roomy with lots of sleeping space. Also, we had two boats with us and had plenty of parking space for both trailors and all vehicles. Lots of space along the sea walls for the boats too. We were close to Looe Key wich has some of the best snorkeling and diving in the Keys. We were also close to Key West and could get there quickly for restaurants, shopping, and night life. My family and I look forward to going back again next year!!

The house was so much better than we had expected. The pictures that are posted don't do justice or show exactly how nice this house exactly is. The surrounding area is perfect and the kayaks were a bonus for touring the waterways in the front and to the side of the property. What a beautiful location. The house owner/manager was very friendly and helpful. The house was filled with everything we needed for the week which was a huge help. I would recommend this house rental to anyone! You wont find a better house with friendlier owners/managers. I rate the house a perfect 10 and plan on renting again this August with the same people we came with last year.

Great house!!! We had a party of 10 ppl staying, with 3 boats. Just like the review below, the house was very roomy. While the man went snorkling off the sea wall. Us ladies enjoyed coffee and over looking the crystal clear water. Later, we would enjoy kayaking down the cancel. Very relaxing!!. The pool is well-maintained and refreshing. Our days were spent going lobster catching and fishing out at sea. The kitchen has everything you would need. Plenty of room in living area with gorgeous view of bay. Key West is 25 mins away and has great night life. This house is fablous for large parties. Lots of do, jet ski, fishing, diving or just relaxing. We will be there again this August and we can't wait. And "yes" Colleen is very friendly and helping.

Great home, fantastic location, amazing sunsets... need I say more. From the beginning the owner made our experience great. We were a large group of adults and never felt cramped at all, with the pool, hot tub and kayaks there was always something to do. Waking up each morning and having my coffee down by the water at the lovely table, favorite part of my trip. Can't wait to get back!

We stayed there with our 6 children who range in age from 10-19. They all loved the place! Our boys spent hours fishing and looking for sea life. They found crabs and lobster right there along the sea wall. Even snorkeling along the sea wall was interesting for everyone. We brought a boat and it was convenient to tie it up right there at the house. We loved sitting around the pool and relaxing on the deck and napping in the hammocks. The pool is well maintained and the perfect place to cool off. The kitchen had everything we needed and served us well when we had a large crowd for dinner. The living room has windows all around so you can see the great view of the bay. We went to Key West a few times and there is plenty to do there. Snorkel trips, parasailing, Scuba diving. We are an active family! I would highly recommend this home to anyone. There is something here for everyone.

We stayed here last year and loved every second of our vacation. We had 6 kids and 6 adults and there was more than enough room for everyone. Fantastic view, friendly neighbors, beautifully kept property and pool. Colleen is the BEST! Couldn't have asked for a better rental experience! We'll be back.

We had a FABULOUS vacation at this lovely home! We brought our jet boat and 2 jet skis all the way from Maryland, and the home was perfect for our water 'toys'! Sugarloaf is excellent location to enjoy the water & sights by day, and a short drive to Key West for dinner and evening fun. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. Was truly a wonderful place to vacation! We will definitely go back!

This house is great for a larger group or family. We had eight adults and seven kids and it was comfortable. Sugarloaf is quiet and beautiful and still close enough to Key West and Big Pine. The view is spectacular and the canals are great for snorkeling and fishing. The homeowner, Colette, was very helpful. The house could use another fridge/freezer.

We had the opportunity to visit the keys for the first time this spring. The location of the home is very nice. Close enough to drive to Key West. Quiet key with few activities. Beautiful ocean front location. Terrific views. Functional house. No a lot of things for cooking (glasses, pans, utensils, etc.) Others probably don't cook on vacation:) The owner, Colette, was very easy to work with.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Verde during our stay the first week of May, 2009. It was very peaceful, quiet and a beautiful place to stay and so close to Key West. We would definitely come back to stay again and the time was not near long enough while we were there! The Gray's from Texas

My group (8 of us) has spent the entire month of February somewhere in the Keys for years. Key West has become a loud city, Marathon is too far north, and Sugarloaf is perfect! The house is spacious and elevated with spectacular waterfront views, and it's quiet. You cook on the grill and eat by the pool, and finish the night with champagne in the jacuzzi. Of course you will visit Duval in Key West, it's just 10 minutes away. But after you done that a few times, you will just want to get back to your heated pool at this house in Sugarloaf, pop a cork, and watch the sunset. Don't miss the Italian Restaurant about a mile north, same side of road as the house, I can't remember it's name, ask Colette, she will know.

If you don't know Sugarloaf is a wonderful spot, close to all you need in the Keys and this home is more than you would expect, an exceptional rental home. All the comforts and then some. Plenty of room for 2 families as we experienced, great for the kids and grown ups as well. Awesome views and location thanks for the memories.

We stayed at Sugarloaf Key in Octber, what an experience. This place has everything you need right there for a wonderful vacation. Swim in the pool and fish in the ocean all at the same time or just swim in the ocean. This home is beautiful, it has a large living-dining area,a full kitchen, confortable beds,tv's in all rooms, covered decks, hot tub,a grill and the most beautiful view of a fabulous Key West Sunset. Also just a short drive for a full day at Key West where there is so much to see and do, or go down for a wonderful night life experience either is great or do both. This is as close to Heaven as it gets. Thanks Colette for a wonderful time, Your friends in Tennessee. Ralph&Susie,Michael&Lisa,Doc&Kathy, and David see you next year.

In our 30+ snowbird trips to FL why did it take so long to discover this fabulous spot? Casa Verde has everything we could ask for and then some (plenty). No need to go to Mallory Square for terrific sunsets--we had them right at home. EVERYTHING was perfect-pool, fishing, swimming, kayaking, cookouts, sunsets, a sparkling clean home, plenty of room, and the kindest hostess. WE'LL BE BACK !!!

We had a fabulous time!! The house was beautiful and the view was awesome. Colette was wonderful and was very helpful in planning the trip to Key West. We found Sugarloaf Key to be a terrific location with quick access to Key West and Bahia Honda State Park. The home was very well kept and the pool was great being located right on the water. There are so many great things to say about this vacation home and we hope to come back every year. We all really enjoyed this relaxing and wonderful vacation.

Casa Verde - truly a home in paradise! The house is just beautiful and wonderfully located. Our recent 7th family reunion was located here and we couldn't have picked a better spot. R&R, fishing, boating, sunning, pool side, site seeing - whatever your choice - this is the place to be. We hope to come every year, as we truly enjoyed ourselves!

My small company had its annual meeting here. What a great idea we had to do business and relax at this wonderful property. The view was spectacular with the added surprise of sunrise over the water. The large living area was ideal for our purposes, and this was the cleanest and neatest property I've ever rented in the Keys.

Our family of 5 had a great time staying at Casa Verde during the Thanksgiving holiday. Colette could not have been more helpful since we booked our trip at the last minute. The kids loved the pool and fishing right off the dock. We have been to the Keys many times, and have rented places from Key West up to Duck Key. We found Sugarloaf Key to be a wonderful location with quick access to all that we love about the Keys - Sunset at Mallory Square, Fort Zachary, lunch at Geiger Key, snorkeling Looe Key, and Bahia Honda State Park. At the end of each day we were back at Sugarloaf for a quiet evening and a peaceful morning, ready to begin another day in paradise. It was one of the best trips we have had to the Keys.

We had a wonderful time on our vacation at this home (probably one of the most relaxing). The house and pool are literally on the water. The view from every window is gorgeous. We grilled out and had dinner by the water several nights. The other nights, we drove to Key West.(a short 20 minute and very scenic drive)
