  Great location. Walked to the zoo, Diamond Head, the beach and downtown at night. Rented scooters and a car around the corner. BBQing, swimming and jacuzzi all on the 6th floor. Perfect place to stay especially if you have a family. Cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner in the condo can save a TON of money!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  Our family of four stayed at the your apartment for the week. We would like to say you a grand Thank You! for being such a great Host! We feel you carry about us in every way. Apartment is very clean, everything we needed was there. fully equipped kitchen , comfortable beds, beach towels, umbrella, chairs, kids stuff.... can even list all small thing that was very handy and helpful. Having a parking path was so convenient and saved us a money. Location is osem , close to the beach and park and shops and stores and zoo, all did make our stay so relax and enjoyable. Thank you and we hope to come back next year as well.

  This was our second stay at the Banyan and first time in this well stocked and comfortable unit (10 day stay). The location is perfect for us, walking distance to the beach and Kapiolani Park, which we prefer over the more congested western aspect of Waikiki. DH is a body surfer, and short access to the highway to drive to Makapuu and Sandy beaches during the day, and easy walking to all the downtown Waikiki restaurants at night. We had absolutely no problems. Excellent communication from owner prior to arrival. Parked our rental car in front and ran up stairs to unit, security code worked perfectly (LOVE not having to carry a key), parking pass exactly where told, back downstairs and into garage in < 10 minutes!! Parking pass is a major PLUS for those with rental cars. Love that unit was close to elevator, easy in/out when lugging groceries or beach stuff. WiFi was easy to access and fast. Agree, TVs have fewer channels and picture a little choppy in living room.....but who goes to Hawaii to watch TV?? As we were only 2, there was plenty of room. There was more than enough linens in the closet and eating/cooking utensils for the two of us. And really enjoyed the great beach chairs, which we used everyday. We packed a daily cooler to the beach, so appreciated the Tupperware and ice packs in the freezer. We're beach bums, and did not use the pool area, but it was clean and chairs available when we passed by. All in all a fantastic vacation and anniversary celebration. Thanks Allison, we'll be back!!

  Not at all what we thought we were getting. 1 bedroom was sliding doors to close off the bedroom. Beds were NOT Queen size and were very uncomfortable for 2 adults or 2 teenagers, therefore our teenagers had to sleep on the floor. Dinning for 4, there was only 3 bar stools. The carpets were filthy. There were only 2 towels even though our reservation was for 5. Getting extra towels from the rental office proved to be very difficult. The bathroom was very small and difficult with 5 people. Parking pass had expired and again dealing with the rental office was difficult. It took 3 days to get the internet to work. However the owners were very apologetic, helpful and prompt with responses.

  Owner response: I am so sorry that you were not happy with the unit.... it really surprised me, every other guest has enjoyed very much. I did like your input and we are on schedule to have the carpets cleaned more often and I will try to rectify the solution of the 3 barstools... I do hope you give us one more try. Mahalo.

  The Pros: Great location, well stocked kitchen, nice condo, owner even provides beach items. The Cons: No dishwasher, renter must pays PayPal fees, TV remotes don't work, bad reception on living TV

  Our family of 4 very much enjoyed our stay at your "home away from home"! We had everything we needed in the condo; close to the beach and the beautiful Waikiki. I loved the fact that the condo had both ocean and mountain view; my daughters would not leave "home" unless they receive their daily dose of rainbows!

  Myself and 2 friends stayed 8 nights and our only complaint is we couldn't stay longer! We especially enjoyed having 2 queen beds in one room and the well stocked and roomy kitchen. We definitely appreciated the beach items in the closet. As travel didn't allow us our own they really came in handy. LOCATION!!!! This building is in the middle of anything you would want to see or do in Waikiki--and walkable!!! We did have/use a car--but only when absolutely could not walk--like going around the island!! So the parking space is a HUGE time and $$$ savings. The topper to it all is the lovely view from the lanai(terrace)--several valleys and the Hawaiian mountains and a perfect sunrise/sunset location!! What a way to start and finish each day.....We would definitely hope to find this unit available when we are lucky enough to return!!! Mahalo.....

  Pictures don't do this place any justice. My friends and I stayed here along with my 1 year old son and we felt at home the moment we walked in. Everything was newly remodeled. It had everything you could imagine in a kitchen. Tupperware? Who stores tupperware for their guest? Allison does! We got to pack fresh fruits and snacks for the entire family. We had a little trouble getting into the condo on the first day but a simple phone call to Allison and her husband got the problem fixed within half an hour. Thanks again for the hospitality. Will definitely stay here in the future as well as recommend this place to our friends and family.

  I took 4 kids and a girlfriend with me on this first Hawaiian trip. Very fortunate to have booked this wonderful condo which is just a block away from Waikiki Beach. Centrally located close to shopping and aquarium and zoo and restaurants. Nice ocean view from the lanai too! The condo is well equipped with supplies as well as beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toy etc which is an added bonus that we didn't expect. The boys absolutely loved it. Really make the trip very enjoyable. Owners are easy to work with and prompt in reply. Will be looking forward to our next trip and will be back for sure. Mahalo!
