Alpine Lodge is a waterfront home located in Tahoe Keys - open, airy, spacious, three bedroom, three bath, 2300 square foot home. The main living areas are all located upstairs providing a full picturesque view of the water.

Open-hearth river rock wood burning fireplace for cozy winter nights by the fire. All beds feature pillow-top mattresses, feather beds, and lush down pillows and comforters for your enjoyment and comfort. Looking for a Honeymoon spot or Romantic Get-away, Alpine Lodge's master suite features a magnificent four-poster pine bed with stair-steps large armiore that houses a 24" flat screen TV and DVD.

Impeccably maintained home ideal for entertaining, great room, kitchen, and dining area with beam ceilings, large remodeled gourmet-style kitchen with granite counter-tops and every amenity a gourmet cook will require. Beautiful upscale lodge-style furnishings and designer touches throughout. Great room has digital cable 32" flat screen TV, stereo, DVD and IPOD station.

The downstairs level offers a large game room with 8' billiard table, small wet bar, two sofa beds 40" Flatscreen TV and DVD player. Desk with printer and fax machine. A full size bathroom is located on this level along with the laundry room with washer and dryer. Having the great room upstairs and game room downstairs allows families to either enjoy spaces together or apart.

Redwood decking front and back with views of the mountains and lake, hot tub, and private boat dock just a few steps from the back door. This property is in a huge deep and wide waterway. Fenced yard with lawn area that leads to the boat dock area, this home is great for families who enjoy outdoor activities and water sports, with the ease of docking your boat just a few steps out the back door. Our Vacation rental guests also have access to Tahoe Keys amenities (indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub, and tennis courts for a small fee per day).

For planning sleeping capacity our bedroom layout is as follows:

CHECK OUT OUR UNIQUE RATE STRUCTURE:
Alpine Lodge is a 3 bedroom house...our rates are based on the total number of bedrooms required during the stay (we only rent to one party at a time this is not a shared house rate). We only close off the bedrooms that are not used... the rest of the home is available for use. This rate structure allows us to offer a lower rate to couples and smaller size families that are not using all the bedrooms and sofa beds in the house.

Rates are based on number of bedrooms required during your stay. We only rent to one party (family) at a time. Our unique rate structure allows us to keep our rates low for smaller parties that do not require use of all the bedrooms in the house.

Why the Owner Chose Tahoe Keys

We spent a weekend viewing about 90 homes in the South Lake Tahoe area and narrowed our search to Tahoe Keys because we liked the ability of walking out the back door and jumping into a boat and being out to to Lake Tahoe in just a few minutues. We had lots of properties to choose from and the reason we decided on this location is it has such a great wide water view and is in a deep channel. The best feature is Alpine Lodge has a reverse floor plan which means the main living space is all upstairs. We know that guests have a great deal of properties to choose from but the best feature we have is that we are located where several streets all come together, so we are right smack in the center of all the water ways which gives us that fantastic super wide water view.

We are US based and will NEVER ask a traveler to go to your bank to send a wire transfer. For our guests protection we do not accept personal checks, money orders or cashier’s checks. We only accept payments by credit card or echeck which are processed through a secure payment processing site.

Owner's Map of Tahoe Keys

After spending 25 years in high tech procurement as a start-up company expert and entrepreneur I left that part of my life behind to become the Vacation Lady. In the early 1980’s I was having to make frequent trips to the Far East and experienced High tea at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore. It was during this trip that the inspiration and entrepreneurial vision came to open Tea Salons in the US. In 1988, I founded a new specialty retail tea business. Created the concept, interior design elements and business plan model from a one-store operation to over 16 US franchised operations and two International locations in less than four years which placed us number 35 of the 100 fastest growing privately held companies in Silicon Valley in 1995. After 10 years in the tea business and spending stints in high tech start-ups I was ready for a new challenge. Since my husband and I enjoyed traveling and dabbling in real estate and nearing retirement age it seemed like the perfect fit. In 1996 we founded Vacation Holdings, purchased our first vacation home and set off to build a luxury vacation rental business using our properties as vacation rentals. It was such a natural progression as I could use my skills in purchasing, interior design and use the same disciplines required in franchising such as scheduling, creating instruction manuals for guests and tracking linen, towels and kitchen inventory. Basically, I was back in the Franchise business only this time we were creating turnkey vacation rentals instead of retail store fronts. My lessons learned from the service industry are applied every day in customer service and satisfaction. We are now up to 9 properties in various areas of the US and Virgin Island and I can say that this is the best time of my life as there is nothing more satisfying than helping to make a Dream Vacation come true.
