This house is the best of both worlds... when you are sitting on the large deck or covered porch it's like being in a tree house secluded, up the mountain from College Avenue on our 1/2 acre private lot with no visible neighbors. Yet, at night you will hear music from the outdoor patio at Foghorns and you will smell the cooking from the many restaurants and bars walking distance from this wonderful house. Sitting on the deck you will look out over College Avenues to the hills surrounding Fayetteville and jump in the car and you are less than 2 miles from Dickson or the University. Whether you are coming to Fayetteville for a game, a University event or a show at the Walton Arts Center or just to vacation or party on Dickson street you will love the HOG Haus and all it has to offer.

Built in 1935 the HOG Haus has old world charm which will be apparent as soon as you walk into the dining and living rooms which have orignal hard woods floors. Gutted and remodeled with all new paint and fixtures in 2012 this house has all the modern conveniences you would expect from dishwashers to garbage disposal to updated appliances and of course central A/C and heat. In addition to the hardwood floors we spent the extra money to make this place special by putting Italian ceramic throughout the rest of the house.

We call it the HOG Haus after our favorite team the Razorbacks... we realize some of you staying with us are probably routing for the opposing team but hey... we're all in the SEC right!! So we wish your team good luck when their not playing our HOGs and we hope you enjoy the game and our lovely HOG Haus and all its charm!

We purchased the HOG Haus in the Winter of 2012 and finished renovations in Summer of 2012 just in time for HOG football and Bikes, Blues and BBQ! In addition we have 5 other properties which are all lake front on Beaver Lake which we also advertise on this site as well as others including our own web site; ozarkrentalcabins. In addition to cash or checks we do have our own merchant account and can accept discover, visa or mastercard.
This 3 bedroom 2 bath house has everything you need to entertain and sleep up to 8 people. We have seating for 6 inside or out on the large 300 sq. ft. deck, plus everything you need to cook and relax from a propane grill to place settings and silverware. You will love the large open kitchen complete with a washer and dryer and dishwasher so you can relax and enjoy your stay.

In addition to the large flat screen TV in the living room we also have TVs in all the bedrooms so you can tune into ESPN when you get back from the game or use one of the DVDs to watch a movie. Perfer like I do to sit on the deck and enjoy an adult beverage? There is seating for six people inside and 8-10 out so there are plenty of places to relax and enjoy Fatetteville. Got kids or just have the energy of one... we also added a professional Foosball table and horseshoes around back to help keep you entertained. Like all of our properties we've added the little touches like games and propane grills to make sure you have a good time!

The HOG Haus has a very large living room with 2 couches for everyone to sit and if you don't have tickets you can watch the game on our large flat screen TV. The 3 bedrooms are located down the hall with two of them (one with a queen and the other a king bed) sharing one bath room and a separate bath for the Master Bedroom. This house has a resort look and feel to it with the ceramic floors and the extras we have put into it with beautiful furnishing, fixtures, drapes and linen.

We also have one large screen in porch off the living room which we tiled and added outdoor furniture along with a professional Foosball table... send the kids outside to play a game or enjoy one of great fall nights with a cup of joe or your favorite beverage and look out over the Ozark Mountains and College Avenue below.

In addition to two queens and a king bed, this house also has two futons for you to comfortable sleep 8 people. Add up the cost of 2-3 hotel rooms and you will see the HOG Haus is a bargain. But again, the best part of the HOG Haus is sitting outside on our 300+ square foot deck with seating for everyone. You will think you are in a tree house as you look over the Ozark Mountains and College Avenue below.

Lots to do in this beautiful area of the Ozarks with it's abundant natural beauty... go hiking in Devil's Den State Park or canoe the Buffalo River or rent a boat at one of our local Marina's and spend the day on Beaver Lake. Back in town you will love the University town of Fayetteville with it's beautiful square, outstanding University of Arkansas with our awesome Reynolds Stadium and Walton Arena. Don't forget Dickson Street with all of it's outdoor cafes, bars and restaurant and some of the best live music anywhere in the country.

If you love the arts this is the place for you with performing arts center in Springdale and the Walton Arts Center on Dickson Street. Be sure and check out Alice Walton's new Crystal Bridges Art Museum... the architecture is fabulous not to mention the $800+ Million worth of artworks on display. Or just stay at home and enjoy the awesome views from the deck or walk down the hill and visit the many restaurants right by the HOG Haus like Mermaids, Foghorns or Art's Place for a beer and a burger!

HOG Haus rates are based on up to 6 adults (extra charges for pets and more people). *Minimum stay is 2 nights. Additional fees apply (along with a booking fee, cleaning fee, and sales tax) for extra people and for these dates.

This rental is on College Ave. less than 2 miles from University and Dickson Street so it's an awesome place to stay for games and other events.
