Enjoy staying in a charming cottage surrounded by lush green forest just outside of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Our cozy cottage is outfitted with everything that will make this your home away from home.
This 2-story cottage sits on a hill overlooking a lush hillside and the Appalachian mountains. The interior is decorated beautifully with warm colors, hardwood floors, and modern finishes. An open floor plan on the main floor allows for the family to interact together while all engaging in different activities. The kitchen is outfitted with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops which leads right into the family style dining room. The living room is a great place to relax and enjoy your favorite show on the flat screen or make plans for the next day’s adventure. Right off the living room is the half-bath which is a convenient place to wash up upon returning from you outings, the closet inside this bathroom is where you will find the washer and dryer. The front patio is a great place to catch some sun during the day or relax and watch the sunset over the mountains in the evenings.
The two bedrooms are located upstairs, the first bedroom has a double bed and a closet with a window looking into the forest. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and a walk-in closet with a large window overlooking the mountains. The main bathroom is just around the corner from the two bedrooms and has all the essentials.
Satellite television, DVD player, free high speed DSL internet, all linens, washer, dryer, iron and ironing board are provided for you during your visit to our cabin.
Located only 5 minutes from the Cherokee Indian Reservation, 7 minutes from the Sequoyah National Golf Club, 8 minutes from Harrah’s Cherokee Casino, 10 minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National park and the Blue Ridge Parkway, 20 minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad and Bryson City, NC, 30 minutes from the Nantahala River, and only 1 hour away from Asheville, NC and the historic Biltmore House. The proximity you will have to everything when staying at this cottage sets you up for a vacation with all sorts of adventure not far away!

My husband and I and another couple rented this cabin hoping for a little getaway after playing all day at Sequoyah National Golf Club and Cherokee casino. This cabin was absolutely perfect for just that. It was a breeze communicating with the owner to arrange our trip. The place was even better than the pictures portrayed. It was very clean and well suited for 2 couples. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms had plush towels. The kitchen had all the dishes and pans we needed to make a nice breakfast. Food Lion was 5 mins away to get the few groceries we needed. In fact, everything we needed was 5 minutes away. It is perfectly tucked away off of the main roads and just high enough up a mountain to give stunning views and still be hiked up. The only thing we missed were 2 more Adirondack chairs on the front patio so we all could chat and enjoy the views with a tasty beverage. We definitely plan on coming back again and renting the owners other cabin just down the mountain for more friends. I'm not sure why anyone would stay anywhere else in Cherokee/Whittier!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

My husband and I, along with another couple stayed in the cottage this past weekend and we LOVED it. It's so comfortable, everything is fresh and new, and it's very close to the casino, grocery stores, etc.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.
