  LOCATION,LOCATION,LOCATION! Oh, by the way, did I mention location? We just returned from our stay at the Lighthouse Towers on Sand Key Beach which proved to be quite a rewarding experience. Not only is the building ideally located but Jane's condo is ideally located on the third floor in the center of the building. This means you can conveniently walk up to it (if you do not choose the elevator) from any area on the premises. The unobstructed full glass views are amazing...sunsets, dolphins, surrounding area, etc. It's a very bright unit stocked with all of the amenities needed to make anybody's stay very, very comfortable. Jane is such an attentive owner and really cares about her renters. She made us feel like part of her family and went above and beyond to make our stay just perfect. We LOVE talking to her!!! We also found all the employees that we came in contact with to be extremely helpful and polite, as well as other visitors staying there. Not only is this cozy condo on the perfect beach but it is also conveniently located for long, comfortable walks and, within walking distance, near to excellent eating and shopping. We can't wait to return and enjoy Jane's hospitality once again. We have already booked our return date!!

  This was our second stay at Lighthouse Towers, although this stay was in a different unit. We enjoy staying at Lighthouse Towers because of the secruity, the lovely grounds, and its proximity to Clearwater Beach. The unit was clean, well kept and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The owner was very attentive to our comfort and checked with us regularly to be sure our stay was enjoyable. Should we decide to make a return visit to the area, we will definitely consider staying in this unit.

  This vacation condo on the beach was a real treat!!! We were greeted by the friendly security guard and showed our parking spot. When we came upstairs the place was everything we have hoped fore and more. It was spotless and fully equipped with everything you can possibly think of. Huge floor to ceiling window had an unobstructed view of the palm trees, the beach and a glorious sunset. We went for long walks on the beach, collected shells and watched the dolphins swim. We took advantage of a heated pool, grilled some steaks on a BBQ and played some tennis - all included in the condo amenities. The stores and the supermarket is a short drive away and we cooked plenty of times in our comfortable kitchen. When we didn't feel like cooking we went for a 5 minute walk to the shopping center across the street. It has a few great and affordable restaurants, stores and even a beauty parlor, all with the water-view. The owner Jane was checking in with us from time to time to make sure that everything is going smooth. The manager Barbara was a lovely lady. There is also a handy man on staff if you ever need him. There are plenty of things to see and to do. We are definetly coming back to this place.

  This was our first experience renting a condo in Florida, and I can say that it turned out just fine. The condo was exactly as in the pictures. It was very large with a nice layout. The kitchen was large with lots of counter space and cupboard space. We ate in almost every meal, so we used the kitchen alot, it had everything we needed. The bedroom had a very comfortable king size bed and a walk-in closet, lots of storage space! The condo is on the third floor, which we liked, as we could take the stairs instead of waiting for the elevator. The livingroom is very nice, with the floor to ceiling windows, large TV, nice furniture. The view from the living room and bedroom was spectacular! It was so nice to hear and see the Gulf from the bedroom. Another great feature was the Wifi - very nice. Jane provided comfortable beach charis and an umbrella for use on the beautiful beach. The beach in Sand Key is very nice - deep, and never crowded. Lots of shells. We are beach people and we were on the beach every day, sitting, walking, looking for shells, watching for dolphins, and generally relaxing. We found everyone at Lighthouse Towers to be nice and friendly, and the Security staff very helpful. The area is also very good for biking, there are bike lanes on most of the roads in the area, and we found the drivers in the area to be very consciensious, alway felt safe. The Pinellas bike trail is not far away, it runs from Tarpon Springs, all the way down to St. Petersburg. Jane was always available by phone or email, and genuinely wanted us to have everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. We would be happy to return!

  We loved the condo, views of the beach & especially the spectacular sunsets. We loved the beach, sea shells & sea birds. This condo is close to amenities, with several restaurants and shops virtually across the street, and, much more a short drive away. Jane was very attentive to our needs, ensuring there were no problems on arrival, and, during our stay. Having a security staff on site made us feel very comfortable. We recommend this condo & location to others, and, we would look forward to another stay here, should we return to Sand Key. Bob & Teresa, February 2013

  From the minute we entered the condo we were very happy with the place and especially our view. The owner Jane was quick to respond toour inquiries and was very helpful with any questions we had. The place was clean and has a nice simple decor. The beach is clean, quiet and we saw dolphins in the gulf several times from our deck! Gulf Blvd. offers many nice places to eat (Backwaters and Columbia across the street and Guppys a few miles away) We are having a great stay and we are hoping to come back next year!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  We loved to being right on the beach, Judy walk out the building a few steps. Beach chairs and umbrella were supplied which made it even better. The pool and spa at the condo was very nice, never too crowded. The ocean view are amazing and private beach just as good. The condo unit is fully equipped. We had even the beach towels. The condo building and unit very clean and quiet and staff were very friendly. There is a great little place right across the street that has fantastic breakfasts and lunches names Magi. Trolley(bus service) up and down Gulf blvd.for access to shopping and great restaurants. We had wonderful time and hope this unit will be available next year.

  Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, tourists without a car.
