What a Great Place !
What a Great Place !
Our family stayed here for 17 nights and the owners went out of their way to make it a great experience. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we have ever had. Cookies, cereals, hot chocolate, condiments, you name it this kitchen had it - even beer and wine was waiting for us when we arrived. With two young children it meant most of our meals were prepared in this kitchen and my wife was more than happy with the selection of utensils and appliances that were available. The condo also had two flat screen TVs including one very large 55" one above the fireplace and not only did you have a wide selection of cable TV channels but there was also Netflix making movies and tv shows available on demand any time day or night. We found the village itself a great place to stay for a young family. There was the resort skiing right on your front door plus Club Solitude which offered a heated outdoor pool, hot tubs, games room, gym, etc. Our kids enjoyed many hours in the heated pool after a hard days skiing. We'll definitely be keeping this place in mind next time we return to the USA. Thanks for the good times.

Manager response: Thanks for your comments Steve! Hope you guys enjoyed Vegas and your trip home. And it was fun to do some skiing with you too.
Excellent place to stay and ski. Our condo was very well stocked with all the essentials and the owners were wonderful to work with. Very cozy and very convenient to all the Solitude amenities. Will definitely stay here again!

This was a lovely one bedroom which could really sleep more than four if needed as there was also a bunk room. Since it was just my husband and I, we had lots of room for our ski stuff and a locker downstairs for the skis. The owners were above and beyond nice to me as I arrived alone in a snowstorm and they offered all sorts of assistance which fortunately I did not need. It was really comforting to know that I could get help with as little as a phone call! The condo is hands down the best outfitted with food and cooking equipment of any condo in which I have stayed, and that includes a lot of places! I arrived late at night with no food due to the storm and I really had no concerns about starving -- pasta, cereal, coffee beans, cookies, and even wine! Could not have asked for more. The comfortable furniture was in excellent condition and the large TV was very much appreciated on snowy nights There are several restaurants in Solitude but we enjoyed cooking in two nights also. It was nice to have color coordinated dishes (and large coffee cups!), which did not feel like owner castoffs (which they were not!) The gas fireplace was lovely and we were never cold. We skied Solitude and Alta and had wonderful snow and great skiing. I would recommend both Solitude and this condo for a very relaxing winter trip!

Manager response: Thanks for the nice write-up Rebecca! And thanks for leaving the condo so clean! What a treat. We are grateful for feedback as we want to be sure folks enjoy their stays and have everything they need, and more! Renting the condo allows us to afford it so its important to us that folks have good experiences and we appreciate the positive comments. Glad you had time to relax after your nerve-wracking arrival in the snow! We hope you come back sometime!

Liz and John are the most attentive owners that we have come across on VRBO and we travel exclusively with VRBO so we are seasoned vets! The condo was well appointed with amazing views, full kitchen with even the most obscure utensil, the bed was very comfortable, it feels like a 2 bedroom and the price is very reasonable. I highly recommend this condo and we will be back. Thanks for the kind words... we are trying to make the condo nice so folks will enjoy it and book it as we need the income to own it! We asked these folks for a review and they sent us an email which we copied and pasted in to this section fyi

About: Liz, John and son Andy live just 25 minutes away and have flexible schedules to help you out if needed and answer any and all questions about the area. We can even give ski pointers! If you need help with groceries/errands we may be able to assist with that as well (contact us for further info) We want to make your stay great and if our local knowledge can be of use we are glad to share it.
We bought this condo so that we can enjoy Solitude in the summer and fall primarily. (Okay, we love powder snow too.) We purchased this unit because it has a larger floor-plan than the other 1 BR w/ den condos, and has views of the village and mountains. And, when its not rented in the winter, we can get up the canyon to ski some un-tracked Solitude powder and do some nordic ski skating! We are really enjoying the ski in/ski out dynamic too (when the condo isn't rented) - rolling out of bed late and still getting first tracks!! Even though we only live 25 minutes away being able to spend more time in our beloved, beautiful Wasatch has made us happier! We are so grateful to have this condo- every time we go up to Solitude we are renewed.
