If privacy, peace and quiet is what you want, try our like new 2004" cabin, situated on four and a half acres of hardwood forest, in the NORTH GEORGIA MOUNTAINS.
Go down a gentle path and relax next to the winding, spring fed creek or follow it into the adjoining 400 acres of rarely used US FOREST SERVICE land for more active exploring and hiking.
The thick carpet of ferns in this part of the forest during warmer months (it's never hot) adds to the already impressive natural beauty of the site. You see no other homes from the cabin.
Cricket Creek is ideal for couples or a small family. The main level master bedroom has a king size log bed under a vaulted ceiling and includes a DEEP two-person spa for unwinding.
The loft bedroom has a queen bed and a half bath. There is a full bath with shower, and washer and dryer on the main level.
The great room's pine ceiling peaks 20 feet above a plush leather couch just perfect for watching a movie.
French doors take you from your recliner, in front of the gas log fireplace, to the large covered rear porch (one of three) which offers a gas grill, breakfast table and of course, rockers. (Look for the tree "elf" from here).
Our cabin is completely furnished with everything you need from modern appliances and kitchen needs to linens and towels.
You will be secluded enough for abundant wildlife but only a 15 minute drive from Blairsville's shops and stores. The cabin's location provides easy access to area activities and attractions such as Vogel State Park, the Appalachian Trail, Benton MacKay Trail (one-half mile), mountain biking, the Blueridge Railroad, antiquing and shopping in Blairsville, Blueridge and Helen.
