The Newburg House is located 30 miles north of Grand Rapids MN on Highway #38, on the National Scenic Byway. One mile north of Marcell on the beautiful southern shore of Turtle Lake.

"The" premier lake in Northern Minnesota. Turtle Lake with it's 22 miles of lakeshore offers seclusion, breathtaking scenery, and great fishing and hunting. Turtle Lake truly is the lake to vacation on, with its loons calling and eagles soaring. Spend your evening around the lakeside bonfire eating smores, watching the Northern Lights and enjoying the sights and sounds of the lake.

You can swim or fish off your own private dock on the lake. Turtle Lake is an excellent fishing lake with Walleye, Northern, Small & Largemouth Bass as well as Pan Fish. Enjoy hunting or exploring the 8+ acres of wooded private property surrounding your perfect Lakeside Get-Away.

This newer, 2000+ Sq. Ft. custom built 3-bedroom lakehome with reading loft is truly your home away from home with it's Up North setting. The gorgeous open floor plan on the main level features a brick fireplace, vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors and glass doors leading out to a multi-level deck, complete with deck chairs & patio table.

The open kitchen & breakfast bar are stocked with all the amenities of home. French doors invite you into the master bedroom. The upper level offers 1 Bedroom and a reading loft, complete with floor to ceiling shelves full of books. The lower level walk-out is your Family Room, featuring a rock fireplace and a 3rd bedroom. The glass doors lead you to another Lakeside patio.

Two of the bedrooms offer queen size beds, the third bedroom has a king size bed. The reading loft has a very comfortable queen size futon couch that converts into a queen size bed.
