This beautiful four-bedroom, three-bath Hamptons beach house is a 1000 feet from the ocean and near the main highway for easy access to all the great restaurants and stores.
The house is located two miles form the village of Amagansett on a secluded, private acre of pitch pines and scrub oaks. Immediately adjacent is a ten-acre nature preserve – nine acres to the south, one to the north. When the surf is up, you can hear the waves breaking on the shore.
Two of the four bedrooms are master suites with their own bathrooms.
A short stroll down Whalers Lane takes you to a private access to the beach. The 20’ by 40’ heated pool is immediately off the main living area of the house. Next to the pool is an outdoor shower hidden by native plants and bushes.
The ceilings in the living room, dining room and kitchen areas are 18 feet high. The living room has a fireplace, TV, DVD and VCR. The kitchen comes equipped with a Sub-Zero refrigerator and top-of-the-line GE Monogram appliances, including oven, cook top, microwave and two dishwashers.
Eight motorized awnings shade the large decks from the late spring, summer and early fall sun.
Two of the three bedrooms on the ground floor have ceilings that soar 18 feet high. One of the bedrooms is a master suite with its own bathroom and an enclosed spa that opens to the deck and pool. A third bedroom is connected through an open doorway to its own sun porch/sitting room, giving you an additional private suite.
The laundry room and the third bathroom are located in the hallway on the first floor.
On the second floor is a second private master bedroom suite with three decks, a sitting room with a second fireplace and a lounging bridge that overlooks the living room and kitchen-dining area. The walk-in, mirrored dressing room has two large closets. The master bath has a Jacuzzi, bidet, commode, shower and double sinks. |
