There's so much to do on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and this is a great place to launch. This property is located on the eastern edge of Pass Christian, Mississippi, near Long Beach. There is ample parking and a place for your boat, too! Ideal for couples or families. Will accommodate 4-6 people. Respectful pet-owners and their pets are most welcome. Our little cottage has all the creature comforts of home, including a piano for music lovers!
Within a 10 mile radius there are fabulous restaurants, golf courses, harbors, casinos, deep sea fishing, pier fishing, wade fishing, quaint shops, antiques, beautiful views, parks and walks, river rafting, historical homes... and of course, the beautiful, white sand beaches! Only an hour from New Orleans!

Our stay at Cocoa's Cottage was very enjoyable. The property was accurately described in the listing and the photos were very helpful. The property was very clean and well maintained and the owner was helpful in answering any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this vacation property to others.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We enjoyed our 2 weeks at Cocoa's Cottage. It was clean and extremely well equipped. We enjoyed grilling and sitting in the backyard. The fenced in yard was a real plus. Our dog spent a good amount of time there chasing squirrels that live in the oaks. Several golf courses are close by. A highlight of this visit was the trip to Mobile to tour the battleship USS Alabama. The cottage is close to the beach so we took many walks along Beach Blvd. We were a little disappointed that we could not take the dog on the beach itself since the county has it posted "no pets". Be sure to visit the beach after dark on a clear night. The stars are beautiful. We were very comfortable here and definitely felt at home. The owner was a gracious host and has given some thought to what it takes to make her guests welcome. We definitely would recommend this property. Had a relaxing stay. Hope to return. Nice house, close to the beach. Our small dog really enjoyed the yard. The king bed was very comfortable and the house was very well equipped. I especially loved the very thick, very big towels. The location is very convenient and only an hour or so from New Orleans if you want to visit (and we did) We came to Pass Christian to go to the Oyster Festival - it was really fun! Will plan on coming back next time we are in the area.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, pet owners, families with young children.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cocoa's Cottage. We had all the household items we needed, the house was very clean and cozy. The fenced in yard was great for the kids. We would recommend Cocoa's Cottage to family and friends. The Mississippi Gulf Coast is Beautiful.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Enjoyed how close to the beach Coco's Cottage to the beach. I walked there every morning with my dog and had enjoyed the sunrise. The house was super clean and had brand new appliances. Will be coming back again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Keep the property and all furnishings in good order 5. Only use appliances for their intended uses 6. PETS are permitted only with prior approval and the Pet Addendum must be completed. 7. Parking: PARKING – Parking is limited to 3 vehicle(s). Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. 8. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units. 9. [Water and Sewer: DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to $250. PETS: Please see pet addendum attached to rental agreement. Pets must not cause damage to premises or furnishings. If damages are caused, the cost of the damage may be deducted from security deposit. Guest should prevent pets from producing excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors. Pet will not be left unattended for an undue length of time, either indoors or out. Pet must be gated or leashed outside, or crated if left inside when Guest is absent. Homeowner assumes no responsibility for illness or injury that may incur to pets or humans while on the premises. The Guest shall be solely responsible for the pet while on the property.

Year Purchased: 2010
About the owner: Originally from New Orleans, I moved with my family to the area when I was young and grew up less than three miles from this precious little house, where my grandparents retired. I still live close by in nearby Long Beach. It has meant a lot to me to restore and remodel this home, making it 'new' again. It is my pleasure to make it available to others to enjoy.
Why the Owner Chose Pass Christian:
This property has been in my family for a number of years --- my grandparents retired here, and my father lived here, too. I acquired it in 2010 and named it Cocoa's Cottage, after my dad's canine companion.
