Ambleside cabin is 1100 sq ft , 2 bedroom cabin located in Douglas Lake Resort. Both bathrooms have a jacuzzi tub, Cabin can sleep 5 comfortable, 40 in Flat screen HDTV in living area, 19 in HDTV in lower bedroom, 19 in HDTV in upstairs bedroom, WiFi through out cabin . Large wrap around deck which includes a 4 person hot tub, security alarm .Resort amenities include, pool access, boat ramp, boat slips, walking trail, event center building, lodging for large family get togethers.
Cabin is in a very quiet part of the resort with easy access to local convenience stores, several local marinas where you can rent pontoon boats , kayaks and canoes
Cabin provides towels, linens, blankets and pillows for its guest.
Fully equipped kitchen, wood burning fireplace ( firewood NOT provided ), and a cozy eating area.
Ambleside of the Smokys cabin awaits your visit to a Retreat to Relaxation !

Cozy

Had amazing time. Cabin was complete with everything you need. Comfortable and cozy felt like I was home. If you’re looking for a two bedroom cabin this is the place to stay. Owner was nice and helpful.

Misleading

Hottub was not properly maintained, no chemicals, foul smell, bottom covered in deep grit. Property literally ON the busy roadway, I recommend only commuting with an economy sized vehicle anything larger will almost be in street. And neighboring tenants WILL park their vehicles over into what is meant to be our spots (Us in SUV could only open door halfway to get out. And forced to be on very edge of parking platform as walking around) Walkway/steps from driveway treacherous. Bedding not cleaned (sticky substances on comforter). Kitchen stocked with BARE minimum cookware. Largest pot was a 2quart saucepan. (Bought our own) Toilet in main floor bathroom clogged with each flush. I personally had to scrub jacuzzi to remove rust collected around drain, and ring around entire tub. No pillows provided for pull out sofa, had to use accent throw pillows to sleep. We were warned to respect neighbors privacy etc but constant dog barking, not mentioning blaring TV from early afternoon to well into the evening (10pm). Yard in between homes covered in debris. Not at what we had hoped or expected when reserving this property.

Great dollywood trip

Water heater died on us. Owner promptly got it fixed. Great location away from crowded area. Beautiful location.
