With a loft, library and a playroom. Our home sleeps 6 with an additional 2 on the sofa bed. You can accommodate all in the dining room and breakfast area.
Relax by the fire in the winter or sit on the front porch or deck during the warmer months. Barbeque on the gas grill that is hooked up to the gas line. You will never run out in the midst of cooking. There is also a gas stove and oven which I certainly appreciate.
The backyard is wooded with numerous bird houses (bluebirds actually do live in those houses) and the front lawn is great for sledding after a snow fall.
Impeccably furnished, this is a cozy home. The master bedroom and two full and 1/2 baths are on the main floor while the family or guests sleep upstairs with the 3rd full bath, - privacy for everyone.
You will be indulged with a weekly cleaning service and we will also include snowplowing and trash pick-up.

Year Purchased: 2005
About the owner: We were born in New York and lived in Greenwich, CT. My husband went to sleep away camp in the Berkshires as a child and he fell in love with the area. Having previously rented a second home in the Berkshires, we decided it was time to purchase a vacation home in 2005. The community and the people were instrumental in our leaving Greenwich and becoming permanent residents. We now have a second home in Florida and are spending more and more time there. It would be our pleasure to have another couple or family enjoy our Berkshire home as we do.
Why the Owner Chose Egremont:
After making the decision to buy a home in the Berkshires, the choice of this location was an easy one. It is 1 hour 35 minutes from our address in Greenwich, CT and only 2 hours to NYC. It is in close proximity to Tanglewood, Great Barrington, Stockbridge, Lenox and all the community has to offer. It is also only 7 minutes to Catamount Ski Area. The major feature for us was the first floor master bedroom and a living room ceiling 2 stories high. In addition, there are windows above the French doors to the deck which allows additional light to flow into the living room.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
There are 5 televisions, 2 of them large screen. A gas grill is hooked up to the main gas line so as to never run out in the midst of cooking. Wood for the fireplace is in the garage plus room for one car is available in the garage. We will provide weekly cleaning, trash pick up and snow plowing.
