Your cottage enabled us to have a sweet time together: me with my two youngest daughters. This was a space for walks in the wind and rain, a few movies, some rich conversations and needed rest. May your gift of home & hospitality continue to be a blessing. Again, our thanks!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Had a great time! Enjoyed especially THE ANVIL and SAMMY'S at Inch Beach. Thoroughly enjoyed the scenery and beauty, especially Gap of Dunloe. Had one sunny day but even with grey skies and rain, it was a pleasant vacation.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Thank you very much for a wonderful stay. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived at Annie's Cottage. Every holiday home should have a dog and donkies as great as Yala, Elijah and Elisha. We won't hesitate to recommend 'Annie's' cottage to anyone travelling this way. Thanks a million for everything again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Annie's Cottage was a great place to stay. Sammy's restaurant was really good and they have wifi! If you just go and ride around Ireland, it's so cool! We went on the beach in the middle of January and it was still awesome; it was quite hot as the sun was out. It wasn't even busy and if you go anywhere in Ireland in the off season, its a lot less money! But we are going/hoping to come back in the summer to climb the mountains and such!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Hello Nick and Family! Thank you for an excellent "home" during our vacation in Ireland. We found the Dingle Peninsula amazing. It was a short drive to Killarney National Forest and Muck Ross House which we enjoyed immensely as well as the Ring of Kerry. The Dingle Peninsula in itself was fabulous to explore and we always felt like we were home when we returned to the cottage. Your recommendations of places to visit and helpfulness in every way made our stay with you a highlight of our trip. We really enjoyed Sammy's Restaurant at Inch Beach and it was only a short trip down the road. We had plenty of room in Annie's Cottage for each of us to have our own beds, and privacy. We enjoyed having our breakfasts at the cottage and then exploring during the day. I would recommend these accommodations to anyone who is traveling and wants to settle down in one place for awhile. Thanks so Much! I want to see more of Ireland. MaryAnn (Jean, Jane and Katharine).Owner response: Yet more happy guests!! We loved the bonhomie with this particular group of ladies and it was nice to be able to share our wealth of local knowledge with people who, like us, enjoy the scenery, the exploration, the great outdoors and the sights and delights of the Dingle Peninsula.

Thank you so much for your hospitality - we loved Annie's cottage, looking forward to coming back every day. The views from every part of the house are stunning! The colours and design brighten up even the foggiest, coldest days. We were sorry to miss meeting Anne - hopefully on our next visit! Yala (the dog) and the cats kept us from missing our menagerie at home too much. The donkeys consumed lots of carrots and made me laugh a lot. We travelled the Peninsula and loved every part of every day. Steve took many pictures around the cottage and I am sure he will send the best of them to you. Again, many thanks!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We've spent the past delightful week in this comfy little cottage, enjoying wonderful days exploring but always looking forward to our 'return home'. You and Anne have created a lovely welcoming environment for guests that is much appreciated (especially by fellow do-it-yourselfers like us). W have come to love Ireland, its warm people, their accent and sense of fun - and Dingle has so far been our favourite area. This trip has been a wonderful way to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary and, if we manage to survive during our trip, it will also be memorable. Thank you so much.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/1

Did you find this review helpful? This has been such an amazing trip! We've enjoyed our stay on the Dingle Peninsula and your cottage has ben everything we had hoped for. We got the real flavor of Ireland while staying here in Annie's Cottage on the farm. The landscape was spectacular, looking out over the sea. The highlight of our trip was the Blasket Islands for sure! Hiking in the Killarney National park near Torc waterfall was also a treat. Going to Sammy's on Inch Beach was always our starting point or ending point of every day (seafood pasta is the best). Annie's Cottage was warm and welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed their daughters, Esther and Dora. Our 12 yr old daughter especially loved feeding the lambs and donkeys. We will miss you all and hope to someday come back! Thanks for making us feel at home here!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

During our time at this lovely place, most of our prejudices about Ireland were fulfilled: The people were very kind, especially Nick & Anne, who were very nice and supported us whenever we asked for assistance. The landscape is beautiful, sometimes lovely and sometimes breathtaking - especially the coast and the wide beaches enjoyed by our children. Even the Irish sea was warm enough to swim . The weather was intersting and that is a nice description for lots of rain and storms but also for sunny hours and mild temperatures. The cottage was fully equipped and gave us a comfortable home for these recent two weeks and the kids loved to use the small farm as a big playground. Summary: We will keeep Ireland, the Dingle Peninsula, Annie's Cottage, Nick & Anne and their animals in our memories and we will remember these last two weeks! Greetings and many thanks!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Fazit: Rundum empfehlenswert!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Thank you for our lovely stay at Annie's Cottage, in which we felt very much at home! Also thanks to dear Yala (the dog) who was waiting on the doorstep when we came back from hiking. Special thanks to Nick for helping us pick the best hiking routes and for recommending the "Phoenix Restaurant" (for all vegans and vegetarians: they have lovely take-away as well!) We loved our stay at River Cottage – it is a little slice of Heaven right on the beautiful Dingle peninsula. The cottage is a beautifully restored old farm house that is fully stocked and wonderfully decorated. The owners are on-site and available to help with anything that comes up. Nick and family are wonderful people, and we had a great time getting to know them and hearing their stories. We loved the views from the kitchen and eating area onto the beautiful gardens and mountains right out the back door! Every night we enjoyed a cozy fire in the comfortable living room while recovering from our fun-filled day of sightseeing! This cottage is located very close to Inch Beach and is convenient to do day trips to Tralee, Killarney, Dingle Peninsula, the Ring of Kerry and many more locations. A perfect blend of convenience and tranquility!Owner response: We always appreciate positive comments and hope that they portray a valid and truthful experience that has been recently enjoyed by our guests. River Cottage is indeed a tranquil place but one that offers a great base for seeing all that is best about Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula, in particular. We spend a lot of time maintaining the place and nurturing the garden as well as keeping our animals happy and fed. We love it when our guests seem to enjoy the place as much as we do!!

Our family spent a wonderful week in this pretty cottage. For our children, it was the perfect place to be introduced to Ireland. which has long been very dear to us parents. Annie's Cottage proved to be the perfect "base" to discover not only the Dingle Peninsula, but also the Iveragh Peninsula (Ring of Kerry) , including the Killarney National Park. We even travelled as far as Bantry one day. A special highlight was certainly the trip to Skellig Michael - what a surreal place! Thank you, Nick, for encouraging us to go there! We are sad to leave but certain that we will return and thank you for making our stay so perfect here and for chatting with us accompanied by Mr. Jamieson!Did you find this review helpful? Had a wonderful time on the Dingle Peninsula. A stop on Inch Beach is advised, as is at least one evening in Dingle Town listening to music. We found Annie's Cottage is the perfect spot to visit Dingle and yet still have access to spots on the Ring Of Kerry. Stopping for some archery at the Eclipse Centre near Killarney National Park is a good time! The cottage is adorable and Nick & Anne are wonderful hosts. We'd love to stay again in the future.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

Annie's Cottage was a wonderful place to stay. Nice views, very quaint and nicely furnished cottage. House was clean and well maintained. The owners were super friendly and very helpful. In a good location with easy access to sites. Would highly recommend staying there.Owner response: If you want super friendly and helpful owners - That's us! if you want to be left alone and make your own plans without any help or advice - that's also fine by us. We try and gauge what it is that our guests want and need and provide accordingly (or not) as the individual case requires. We love our Annie's cottage. We love Ireland & The Dingle Peninsula, where we live. We love sharing our enthusiasm and knowledge with others. We love to see people enjoy their holiday. Use us as you see fit. Nick & Anne

Well...It's our last night at Annie's Cottage....regretfully we must return to the real world and our homes and families in the States. We enjoyed our stay very very much...so very glad we stayed with our #1 pick of the cottages and areas that we chose. We had looked at at least 100 cottages in different areas and I must say NO OTHERS compared to this!!! Everything about this cottage was just perfect for our stay, with the added bonus of Yala (the dog) Coco (the black cat) and Yasmin (the very friendly tabby cat)and let's not forget our buddy boys the Donkeys and the sheep. We hope the baby lambs make out. We do plan our return trip to Annie's Cottage in the near future and when we return, we hope you build that sauna! Thank you Again.Did you find this review helpful? Thanks a lot for this wunderful week! See you! Pierre and Nadine!Owner response: Thank you for your kind comments. When we arrived at Annies after a year of planning, it wasn't what we had pictured - It was better!! Cozy, inviting and warm - exactly what we had hoped. The grounds around are amazing. The sweet donkeys, sheep, puppy and cat made it feel just like home. Upon hearing about the cottage origins, and knowing that it was a 'Nick Project', the cottage became even more cosy, knowing that each small touch was thought out and perfectly executed by Nick. Just the windows in the main bedroom were so well thought out. You can't wake up in Texas and see the sea out of one window and the mountains out of another! Nick & Anne, our stay has been amazing! You have been such accommodating hosts from pre-planning until now. Your farm is lovely, your pets are lovely and your family is wonderful! We have enjoyed a lovely week in this beautiful, comfortable cottage. Even with the rain, we have managed to experience some of the wonderful scenery of the Dingle Peninsular. We loved the beautiful surroundings and views from the cottage and the welcoming little black cat who greeted us each morning from the window sill. Thank you so much to Nick who went out of his way to help us when the car broke down. It was really appreciated. We will definitely be recommending friends to this area and the cottage in future.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We enjoyed our stay very much in this beautiful part of Ireland staying at this beautiful cottage. The cottage has everything that one would need. We didn't miss anything (apart from the fact that we missed those we love at home). We enjoyed the silence, the surroundings, the ocean, the ever-changing landscape and above all, the people. Irish people are special - very friendly, open, trusting. This place is a good spot to explore the Dingle and Iveragh Peninsulars - situated somehow right in the middle. The Phoenix Restaurant is a good restaurant for vegetarians. Thank you Anne and Nick and thanks to the girls for your hospitality. We know there will be many happy returns. All the best. We enjoyed six wonderful days at Annie's Cottage. It was our second stay in Ireland and we have seen many accommodations but Annie's Cottage is the best one! Our 15 month old daughter loves the animals and was very interested in them. Nick was a very goood "Ireland Guide" and wonderful and helpful " Cottage Father". We enjoyed Killarney, Muckross House and Muckross Traditional Farm, together with very nice beaches. Esther is a wonderful guide around the Wynne-Morgan Pet farm and she knows how to calm Hannah with the little kittens. Dora and Esther also gave their toys to Hannah - thanks very much! Unfortunately, we didn't get to meet Annie but we shall come again! Greetings!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We began our grand adventure with a lovely week at Annie’s Cottage. Esther was a charming hostess showing us the place. We loved the donkeys & Yala (the dog), who spent the night with us one cold and windy night. It was so nice to come home to pets after a day out. Foley’s now has music on Wednesday nights and we recommend that. Sammy and Nicky at the Quilt shop were both kind. We went out hiking and touring the area when it was raining. The clouds are beautiful and there are frequent ‘holes’ so you can greet a sunny patch. The cottage is clean and the beds are comfortable. It felt like home straight away. Thanks for the eggs and the kindnesses, Nick & Anne and Esther, especially. Beth and Ken, Seattle , USADid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We have had a great week - nearly without any rain - in this very nice cottage. I is a very pleasant place to stay. We saw so many amazing places on the peninsular area. Our little daughter/niece loves the animals around the cottage. Nick & Anne were very helpful, for example, by "saving" our car. Thanks a lot!Did you find this review helpful? We spent two wonderful weeks at Annie's Cottage and we really enjoyed our stay. The location is great for exploring Dingle and Iveragh. It was lovely to have the animals around the cottage and most of all - we'll miss Yala (the farmhouse dog) a lot! And I do love the light blue colours in and at the cottage. We do hope we come back! We have had a lovely week in the cottage. The cottage provided all that we needed to have a really enjoyable week in Ireland. It is positioned in a great spot to be able to get out and explore. The Killarney National Park and Inch Beach have become real favourites and two places that will always hold special family memories. I hope others will enjoy their stay as much as we did and thank you to Nick for his hospitality.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Annie's cottage is a very lovely cottage and a real home from home. The 2 main bedrooms are very spacious and the kitchen has a real country feel. The cottage is ideally placed to be able to go exploring with a cracking beach at Inch just down the road and fairly central to visit Dingle Bay, Killarney & Tralee. Killarney national park is well worth a visit and it is especially worth hiring a bike to get round the whole park and witness the views. Visiting Dingle bay is a must as you will be able to go out on the boat trip to see Fungi the dolphin. Nick was a great host and very helpful with any information needed. We would recommend staying at this cottage. Yala the dog became part of our family for the week and was a very friendly and welcome visitor. You have to meet her!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Most guests are surprised by how convenient Annie's Cottage is - being as it is within only 30 mins drive from Ireland's five highest mountains, Kerry's best-known Peninsulars (Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsular) Kerry's best walking trails - the Kerry Way and the Dingle Way and close to Dingle itself, Killarney and its wonderful National Park setting and famous old towns such as Tralee, Anascaul, Killorglin and Milltown. And if its watersports you like, then there is no better place in Ireland. Inch Beach and Castlegregory have become home to Kerry's best known surfing waves and with paragliding, windsurfing, kayaking and children's organised summer camps, both locations offer all that the watersports enthusiast needs...............and both are only 10 minutes and 25 minutes away from Annie's Cottage, respectively. Kerry's scenery is wild, as is the weather sometimes but dress accordingly and there is no place like it. We love guests who share our passion for this wonderful landscape and culture.

What a wonderful week we have had! Annie's Cottage was a perfect place for us to have the restful vacation we all needed so badly, as well as a central hub for us to see the sights of this beautiful area. It has been the trip of a lifetime for us, one that we will never forget! Nick & Annie have been so helpful with directions and general knowledge of the area. We have enjoyed the antics of the 'escape' sheep and daily visits with the donkeys. One morning we saw a beautiful vibrant rainbow over their pasture.Did you find this review helpful?
