This house was very clean, comfortable and great rates. This was a last minute rental and the owner was very accommodating, even gave us a late check out. The beach is a short easy 2 block walk. Very quiet residential neighborhood. Incredibly convenient and we had a lovely time. Thank you!

Excellent value for the price! The house was much roomier that we expected. There is a rather large rec room off of the kitchen that wasn't even listed in the description. The house was very well equipped, comfortable, and very clean and tidy upon our arrival. The beach was a nice and easy 5 - 7 minute walk from the house, excellent for flying kites and making sand castles. We decided to make LIncoln city our home base and do day trips to other areas from there. Newport aquarium is only about 45 minutes south, and Florence where the sand dunes are is about 1 hour and 45 minutes south. All in all I was very happy with the home and our stay in Lincoln City. Lots of great restaurants and even a large outlet mall within a 10 minute drive of the house. We would definatly come back again!

The hosue was exceptionally clean, plenty of room and very comfortable. Our family can't wait to stay here again. It was perfect for the 7 of us. I can't say enough about it. The racoons at night were a big hit. :)

My family of 7 enjoyed. 8 nights at hale kai over the 4th of july. The home was ready at check in, clean and fairly well equipped. I would recommend that the cleaning lady not wash those rugs though, they left a terrible mess in washer and dryer. The coffee pot did not work and neither did the tv remote but both were easly remedied by a few phone calls, with both being replaced the next day. The beds were comfy, plenty of limens except no extra pillowcases left out. It would have been nice to have somewhere to hang our clothes on hangers but not a big deal. The kitchen was quite ammenable, and we cooked several meals there. The walk to the beach was short and pretty easy compared to past beach houses. The hot water at the back of the house was rather unfortunate though for rinsing off sandy feet until we found a bucket to cool some water off in. But overall, except for having only one full bathroom (my mistake) we found the house to be comfortable and inviting and I would recommend others to stay at the hale kai!

Hale Kai is a lovely home for one or many people. This was my third time with friends staying at Hale Kai and I look forward to the next trip. Easy access to the beach and close in to all of the town’s amenities.

Our family of 6 had a great time at this home. There was so much room, and it was clean and had everything we would need. The kids especially loved the deck to play on. Very close to the beach, in a nice quiet street; and even better at such an affordable price. We loved our time at Lincoln City!

We just returned from another week at Hale Kai. This is our 3rd year renting this adorable house. All 6 of our kids were so excited when we walked through the door! They love the TV area upstairs. When we are there it is kids zone upstairs! It's location is fantastic and has all the conveniences of "home" It is a great walk to the beach and so close to everything! We have enjoyed our stay each time and would recommend it to all of our friends. It is an AMAZING value.

We stayed for a couple of days and had a great rest. Quiet and clean. Every kitchen utinsal known to man at our finger tips. Clean towels and bedding. Very cozy and comfortable. The only proplem was inside lighting. Too dark to read comfortably in the living room. Very comfortable sofas however for sitting and snoozing.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

To start, we were given the wrong lock box code. Took over an hour to even get ahold of anyone to get correct code. Home was advertised with VCR so we rented several movies, however the VCR was non functioning. Outside water hose to wash off beach sand was at a scalding temperature. Inside trash can was filthy and stunk. There were wet towels still in the washer upon our arrival...on my vacation I had to deal with someone else's dirty laundry. I notified manager of all problems who only responded with "Sorry." If I had been offered some kind of compensation for my difficulty getting in and renting all those videos I may have not felt so negative about the house and service.

We stayed there for Spring break 2007. It was fabulous. There was plenty of space for all 5 of our kids and we really enjoyed the feeling of Home when we would come back from playing. We will definitely stay there again! We loved it. A perfect vacation spot.

We had a wonderful time. The house was so relaxing and we especially enjoyed the warm fireplace to come home to after the beach. It is close to everything, including Dory's Cove, which is a must to eat at. Everything is provided to ensure a comfortable time. We loved it!!!

We had a wonderful time at Hale Kai! My kids loved sitting at the table playing Monopoly and watching movies! I loved having all the space we needed for relaxing and spreading out! The house was supplied with everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. Just a short walk to the beach was great and we also enjoyed being so close to shops, restaurants, and the grocery store. We will definately come back!

Had a nice time at the beach house, felt very homey, & comfy. Great set up for parents, sleep down stairs while kids sleep up, gives you some privacy. Great beach spot with small stream for the younger kids to play in. Many stores not too far of a drive, very convenient. Would love to stay again!

Four of us recently stayed at your beach house. What a wonderful hidden treasure it was!! We had the most fun and relaxing vacation the four of us have experienced so far, and we hope to do it again in the spring. Your house was so comfortable and cozy. We were able to take a very short drive to the casino and come back to make meals. The beach was so close we could see the waves from the window!! We even got to help rescue a beached seal just down the way. I speak for the four of us when I say what a great time it was. Thank you for sharing your house with us!!

We loved the beach house! We saw whales and sea lions and had a good time indowntown Newport. Wealso had dinner at Dory’s cove and it was really good and right down the street!The kids watched the Little Scamp movie and lovedit. The toys were a bighit as well. We have stayed at Hale Kai twice now and plan on coming back. Nice quiet neghborhood, 1 block to a great restaurant and fantastic walks on the beach. We loved it!!
