Great overall. Plenty of space. Clean.Quiet neighbours. Tight parking in the rear but this was due to snowdrifts. Fairly steep back stairs- typical of Montreal. Could be a 3 bedroom if needed- would need blowup mattress. Only complaint was the very sensitive smoke detector when cooking- limited our future cooking plans. Oh well- it is Montreal. Restaurants abound. Quick access to major roads, shopping, downtown and metro. Would stay again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The apartment, in the Saint-Henri neighborhood, is great. It's comfortable, gets great light, and is a very convenient place to stay. A great base for exploring Montreal. Don't miss the Marche Atwater or the amazing Art Deco firehouse down the block.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

After spending 3 nights in a downtown hotel, this character apartment was a welcome treat. Charlton, the owner got us settled in and pointed out the various neighbourhood amenities. We had a peaceful sleep in a comfy big bed and woke to sunlight and birdsong in the morning. Even though there is a fully equipped kitchen, we chose to go exploring the neighbourhood in search of some breakfast. A short walk away we found a nice cafe (Quoi De N'oeuf) with fresh, delicious, well priced food. Walking back, we came upon the the Atwater Market with an amazing selection of fresh local produce and interesting shops. Having a private office complete with internet and local phone, this apartment is ideal for our future business trips to Montreal. It's so easy to get downtown just a quick Metro ride away. The apartment feels even better than the photo's can show. The high ceilings and decks to the outdoors give so much extra space. The soaker tub was great to relax in at the end of the day. We will certainly be back here to stay the next time we visit Montreal.Recommended for: Tourists without a car.

My two friends and I had such a lovely time this past weekend at this property. Charlton was very accomodating and easily reachable if we ever needed him. The apartment is absolutely adorable and two blocks away from the Saint Henri metro. It was exactly what we were looking for. The apartment can comfortably accomodate four people. It is very clean and spacious. Charlton provides a parking space in the back which was fantastic. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better host or apartment and hope to be back sometime in the near future!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: I was so happy to read our first review! We worked very hard to make the apartment as welcoming as possible and clearly we made Caitlin a happy customer. Thanks Caitlin!

Owner info
Year Purchased: 1998
About the owner: My name is Charlton Snow. I'm 32 and have lived in Montreal my whole life. I have a 14 year old daughter and a 2 year old son. After helping my godfather manage his numerous residential properties for the last 7 years, he has allowed me to rent one of his units as a vacation rental. We are both very excited about our new project! The owner is now 65 years old and spends most of his time training for mountain climbing adventures. He is well on his way to climbing the Seven Peaks and recently reached the summit of Mount Everest in 2010!
Why the Owner Chose Montreal:
I chose this unit for the short term rental project because it is a spacious, bright and very cozy.
It is also close to the subway and has a parking space.
Since I live in the neighbourhood, I know that this area is family friendly, and very close to amenities and all the tourist attractions!
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
This apartment has two spacious bedrooms accentuated by the high ceilings and large windows.
The bright kitchen has ample space, making it an inviting, comfortable place to have your morning cup of coffee or welcome friends. There are three balconies each with their own view of St Henri. The rear facing balcony is nestled in the canopy, offering shade and privacy.
This place is so homey and so near to the grocery stores, pharmacy and public transit, it makes it an ideal destination for travellers.
Whether you are coming to Montreal for the weekend or longer this home is perfectly situated to meet all your needs.
