As your enter the front door, you are welcomed to a spacious, bright, open area. The living room invites you to a cozy lounge space, which directs you to sliding glass doors leading to the Lanai and the serene pool.
The wonderful over-sized Lanai surrounded with gorgeous pot plants is the main feature for relaxation, next to your enjoyment in the crystal clear pool with a soothing waterfall.
The pool, equipped with solar panel heating, is enclosed within the screened Lanai, providing a bug-free environment under the Florida sun all day long.
The Lanai is furnished with an elegant patio set that seats six, perfect for outdoor dining, entertaining, as well as lounging for those who love to sunbathe or relax by the poolside.
Separate from the outdoor dining area, a beautiful, all-wicker seating area is available for your pleasure of freshly brewed coffee (espresso machine on the premise), and freshly squeezed orange and grapefruit juice conveniently picked right off the trees in the backyard. A gas barbecue is also provided. It is the perfect tranquil spot to rest, enjoy the peaceful view of the pool, and most of all, observe an abundance of local wildlife (ibis, egrets, wood storks, cranes, herons, osprey, anhingas, cormorants, and gopher turtles).
Back inside, the spacious 2000 square feet home is tastefully decorated with attention to quality and detail. This fully air-conditioned home provides a peaceful and serene setting.
It is a split plan home, with the master bedroom on one side of the house with direct access through sliding glass doors to the Lanai. It has a King size bed, complete with high quality Sealy foam mattress and pillows, en-suite bathroom with a sunken bath, a walk-in Roman shower, two separate vanities, a toilet, and a large walk-in closet.
On the opposite side of the house: a second bedroom - with direct access through sliding glass doors to the Lanai - complete with a Queen size bed. Additionally, there is a third bedroom with two twin beds, providing ample sleeping accommodation for up to six persons.
Both guest bedrooms have their own walk-in closets. The adjoining bathroom is complete with a sink, a toilet, and a combination tub with shower, through which one can access the Lanai, conveniently serving as a pool bathroom.
A generous amount of quality bed and bath-linens are provided.
Hair-dryer is available in the main bathroom.
All beds have top quality silk duvets and waterproof protective covers.
The living room is centered on a 50-inch plasma cable-connected TV and comfortable, modern furniture.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need for meal preparation. It has all the conveniences of home: refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher, ice maker, blender, electric kettle, toaster, waffle maker and a garbage disposal.
All bedrooms, the kitchen, the living room and the Lanai are fitted with refreshing ceiling fans.
Adjacent to the kitchen is a cozy nook, which overlooks the pool, open to a lovely view during breakfast and morning coffee. From the nook, the Lanai and pool can be accessed through sliding glass doors.
An elegant formal dining room comfortably seats six people and provides a view of the unique art work and palm trees at the front of the house.
A separate utility room is equipped with a clothes washer, dryer, sink and an ironing board, as well as a self-lifting iron. A spacious double garage with automatic up-and-over door provides substantial short-term storage.
For those who need to keep in touch with family, friends, or business via Internet, there is Comcast (cable) and high-speed/broadband access available to your own personal laptop/notebook (a computer is not provided). The VOIP phone service allows for free local and national (US and Canada) calls, with international calls available by using a phone card (easily purchased locally).
The antimicrobial ultraviolet (UV) light installed in the heating-A/C system ensures that the house remains allergy-free.
There is a Winn-Dixie (discount membership provided), Publix, CVS, Walgreens, and Wal-Mart within a few miles for your shopping needs.
The yard and pool are maintained weekly.
If you need any assistance during your stay, our local management company supervises practical matters, such as any break-downs and end-of-stay cleaning. They are available to help you if such needs arise.

Planning our stay at this home started months prior to our arrival. Magdalena, the owner, was genuinely concerned that her vacation home was going to exceed our expectations - and it did. Most of our previous rentals included a "you never told us that" kind of surprise. This year was the exception. Magdalena's communication with us was frequent and detailed, presumably to avoid any last minute surprises. The cable service was interrupted one evening. We lost television, internet and telephone service. Magdalena investigated and took steps to ensure service was promptly restored. We found the home exactly as depicted in the many photographs. It was clean and well appointed. All the mattresses were new and high-end. We have never slept so soundly. The majority of our time was spent relaxing around the beautiful salt-water pool. The patio furniture was the nicest we have enjoyed. In fact, visitors next door came over for a look and were immediately impressed with the outdoor appointments. Both the neighbours and street were quiet, which made early morning walks especially relaxing. For those not familiar with the Englewood / Port Charlotte area, it has been described as Florida's best kept secret. Visitors enjoy quiet beaches, less traffic congestion and reasonable prices. Rotonda itself is a nature sanctuary. Good restaurants and shopping are minutes away as are I-75 and Fort Myers Airport. We have wintered all over Florida but settled on Rotonda. If you spend time here, you'll know why. We hope that Magdalena will allow us to enjoy this gem in the future and have no reservations recommending it to others.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, people with disabilities, sightseeing.

Our stay was great !!!! Very nice home...The Owner has done a really nice job on their home and everything was very comfortable.I would highly recommend this property.This home is in an area close to Great dinning...shopping...beaches....If the beautiful pool doesn't satisfy you...the beaches are only 20 to 30 min. away....Nicola's restaurant...is a great place for Italian....Sharky's in Venice is an excellent place for a sunset dinner....Joe Cracker by the mall in Port Charlotte...or just grilling out by the pool....Enjoy !!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway, families with teenagers.

It was a lovely experince which stared the moment we opened the door, from the brightness , species and perfectly clean rooms , provided us with a nice welcoming invitation to stay. We later disovered how great your taste was in terms of decorating and fine attention to the detail you have ( even the bottle of wine was a very good choice).Your kitchen is very well equiped with all necessary applinces and your washer and dryer it looks like just arrived from the store , making our experience even more wonderful. For those who will be staying in Magdalena House - here is a good tip, just beside her pool is a grapefruit tree which provided us with the juice I've ever had.Than you Magdalena for now, we'll be back.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, sightseeing.
