Property Title is 'Vista View Retreat'. The upstairs master suite, two lower level bedrooms, and main floor convertible bed will comfortably sleep nine people. The main floor great room, fireplace, kitchen, dining room, and covered deck are extremely comfortable. The new hot tub below the covered deck allows guests to unwind and relax after a long day of activities. We’ve stocked the cabin with everything you will need to include linens and bedding, towels, bathroom amenities and a fully functional kitchen. The great room is setup with the latest technology to include a flat panel TV, DVD/CD player, surround sound, cable television, hi-speed cable modem, wireless internet, a selection of movies, board games, and a gas fireplace to warm up at after a fun day on the slopes. You’ll enjoy cooking in our amazing kitchen with top of the line appliances and accessories then share your meals in our spacious dining room or outside on the covered deck where you can pass the time gazing at the ski slopes next door, the Headwaters Golf Course down the hill, or Rocky Mountain National Park over the ridge.

Our guests love adventure so we added a new hot tub below our covered deck that holds five adults. Soaking in the spa is the perfect way to end a great day after mounting biking, downhill skiing, sledding, fishing, golfing, hiking, or exploring. Other amenities include:

• Linens: Bedding, sheets, blankets, towels provided
• Parking: Off street parking for up to six vehicles

Our newly constructed and professionally decorated vacation rental will fill your vacation in Colorado with wonderful memories. Nestled on the end of a quiet cul-de-sac at the edge of the Sol Vista Ski Resort, you’ll find that your time at the Ranch will pass effortlessly and be filled with adventure. Our paired cabin is filled with stylish mountain décor and luxurious furniture that will make you feel at home. Our cabin in Granby Ranch is truly a four season destination with endless recreation opportunities. For a perfect week long vacation, you might consider: Spring (Mar-Jun): Enjoy late season skiing at the larger ski resorts such as Winter Park (15 min) and Steamboat or Copper Mountain (1.15 hrs). Take mountain hikes starting in Granby Ranch on the 600 miles of trails in the nearby area or head to Rocky Mountain National Park (25 min) for early season hikes and snowshoeing as the snow pack begins to melt. Spend a day white water rafting at peak river flows during the spring runoff then warm up at the Hot Sulfur Springs (15 min) in one of their eleven unique outdoor pools. Fly fish along six miles of exclusive access to the Frasier River reserved for Granby Ranch patrons. Summer (Jun-Sep): Granby Ranch is a golfer’s paradise with the Headwater’s Golf Course within walking distance that has recently been redesigned by Jack Nicholas to showcase its amazing layout in a Colorado Links style. Other championship courses within 15 minutes are Pole Creek, Elk Meadows, and Grand Lake. Break up your golf retreat by hiking and mountain biking throughout Grand County with its world renowned trail systems. For the mountain biking enthusiast, the Winter Park area is known as the Mountain Biking Capitol of the USA because of its 600 miles of amazing singletrack. SolVista Basis is newly emerging as the destination for extreme downhill mountain biking trails. It has hosted the US Mountain Biking National Championships twice in the last 5 years. Spend a day at Winter Park trying your hand at disc golf, riding the alpine slide, and enjoying the beautiful weather at an outdoor café. For boaters, Granby Lake and Grand Lake (Colorado’s largest natural lake) have marinas within a 15 minute drive. The crystal clear, mountain fed water is great for fishing, swimming, boating and skiing. Fall (Sep-Nov): Spend a day in Rocky Mountain Park observing the fall colors as the aspen trees turn a vibrant yellow and the Elk Herds descend from the high mountain valleys for the winter. Play late season golf during perfect weather in September and October or try out the private fish camp on Granby Ranch for an overnight, fully guided fishing adventure. Spend a romantic evening at Grand Lake followed by a nighttime trip to the Hot Sulfur Springs. Watch as the winter snows begin blanketing the high peaks in late September. Winter (Nov-Mar): Start off your ski vacation honing your skills at Sol Vista Basin that is blessed with bountiful snow, no crowds, and vast beginner/intermediate terrain. Take a ski lesson with the professional staff at the basin so that your turns are ready for the larger resorts. Venture to nearby Winter Park (15 min) during the week and experience their long cruisers, famous bump runs, or deep powder.                   About the owner: We live in Arvada, Colorado and spend about 20% of our time at our vacation home in Granby Ranch. We are avid skiers, golfers, hikers, and mountain bikers when we are not working. Brian is a Vice Presidnet of an engineering firm and Mindy is the owner of Maitri Yoga Center (www.yogamaitricenter.com) in Arvada, CO.

                  We purchased this property becase we love the area extending from Winter Park, through Granby, and to Steamboat Springs. Granby Ranch has an extremely family friendly community that hosts more activities than any other area we have ever visited. The weather is outstanding and the terrain is amazing for every outdoor mountian sport. We like the area better than most of the larger resport communities because it is close to all the action without all the people. Granby Ranch is a quiet and lovely spot for all the seasons.
