My friends and I stayed here for a long ski weekend. The location is perfect -- just minutes away from Northstar and other resorts, and right across the street from the lake. Big common area and large kitchen made for easy group interaction. Highly recommended for large groups of family and friends.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, age 55+.

this place is off the hook!!! we were searching for a suitable accommodations for our annual trip with our friends (and little ones!) stumbled upon this little beauty and gave the owners a call.. Jamie was a pleasure to speak with. Very accommodating and reasonably understanding since it was last minute (and it was superbowl weekend!). She made checkout a breeze and the rental agreement was a cinch to take care of. All in all, very pleasant couple to work with! the property is simply A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! it's spacious, welcoming, homely, and best of all, it's within reach of EVERYTHING!!! my only complaint was the master bedroom didnt have a king bed (we're spoiled!) best of all, the kitchen was fully stocked!! i didnt even have to bring half the things i brought because the unit had it all!! EVEN A RICE COOKER!! omg we totally adored this place!! hurry up and rent this unit!! it's a gem!! we're definite repeat customers!! (notice by how many !!s we have that we were really excited about this place??) :)Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

We had our family annual reunion in Tahoe this year and spent a week at this awesome house. It was a great location close to all the best restaurants and across the street from the lake. The house was very spacious and super comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked which made it very easy to cook most meals at home. The kids really enjoyed the yard, hot tub and easy access to the beach. Very affordable for what you get.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family had a wonderful family vacation here this summer. I would highly recommend this house for groups/multiple families. It was a great location with the lake so close. We all (espcially the kids) enjoyed the ice cream shop (daily!). And, the spa was a definate plus. We all agreed that we need to come back during the winter.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

About the owner: Growing up in the Bay Area, my husband and I have never gotten over the beauty of Lake Tahoe. Although life brought us to Southern California shortly after purchasing this house, we have tried to find somewhere we love that's closer to home but have realized there is just no place like Lake Tahoe! As a former bed and breakfast, you will see from staying there that our house was designed for big groups. With each room having its own private bathroom, it is the perfect mix of privacy and party house! We have had so many awesome family reunions and friend gatherings, we hope you can create your own wonderful memories up there as well.
Why the Owner Chose Tahoe Vista:
You will not find a more fun, family oriented place to be in Lake Tahoe! We love walking with our boys to the ice cream shop that is literally a stones throw from the house and open all summer to enjoy, there is a full sledding hill one block from the house in the winter... it is hard to get in all there is to do even if you have a week, and this house is in the center of it all!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Being on a half acre right across from the lake has its benefits for the adults and the kids. While the adults sit and relax in the hot tub on the deck, they can look out at the lake and keep an eye on the kids enjoying the huge lawn. We provide our guests with a garage full of lawn games to play, and in the winter the yard is large enough to build your own sledding course or turn it into a snowball fighting zone! The possibilities are endless... and so are the memories!
