The Black Pearl and Jack Sparrow are both 51ft Lagoons that sails the clear, turquoise waters of the British and US Virgin Islands. Known as 'nature's little secret', the British Virgin Islands are touted as the sailing capital of the Caribbean, making a BVI yacht charter the perfect choice for your Caribbean vacation. Whether you are looking to explore the gorgeous white beaches, coral reefs, snorkeling, kayaking, fishing or just enjoying reading a book and basking in the sun, The Black Pearl and Jack Sparrow offer something for everyone and a vacation of a lifetime.
We offer 4 queen size cabins with walk around island berths with en-suite bathrooms. The 5th cabin offers bunk beds with an en-suite bathroom and there are 2 single forward berths with access via deck. There is a spacious saloon with wrap around windows, fully equipped kitchen and A/C for your comfort. To enjoy eating outside in the Caribbean breeze, just step outside the sliding glass door to the Aft (rear) of the boat where there is a second dining table and plenty of seating for everyone, an outdoor sink and a second refrigerator. On the bow (front) of the boat, you will find a spacious front deck with two netted trampolines, a perfect spot for Caribbean sunbathing or looking at the stars at night. There is also a large cushioned area for lounging with your favorite tropical drink in hand. The covered fly-bridge offers ample on deck seating, enough for four-five additional people to ride along beside the captain for fabulous island views as you are sailing the open waters. Unlike most chartered boats, The Black Pearl and Jack Sparrow both offer a 14 ft dingy, which is longer than the standard dingy, fitting more people comfortably, a deeper hull to prevent you from getting sprayed while riding and a 25hp engine which is three times more powerful than the standard dinghy engines. So whether you are hanging with a group of your favorite friends or spending time with your family, one of these 'floating villa's will surely be a vacation that will create a lifetime of memories!! Welcome aboard, The Black Pearl or the Jack Sparrow ****For large groups, both catamarans can be chartered at the same time. This boat is the ultimate tool for enjoying the beauty of the islands as well as enjoying the company of great people. By nature of a catamaran, the interior rooms are separated from each other, but the Black Pearl's are very surprisingly spacious and luxurious. The common area on the interior and the back are very, very spacious, and are the perfect place for all travelers to co-mingle at the same time. On deck, there is so much space; you can enjoy the company of others, or find a spot all your own. I enjoyed sleeping on the front net between the two hulls, with nothing but water beneath me. The motor power was also quite adequate, and was convenient for not having to deal with sail rigging in the ports. The dingy was also very convenient and easy to use. Apart from enjoying the beauty of the islands and the company of friends, the actual event of sailing itself was very enjoyable and fun, and I particularly liked the quietness with only a few waves splashing on the hulls as the islands went by. The Virgin Islands are the perfect place to sail because the water is so pretty and calm. I had a perfect vacation, and would recommend snorkeling off the back of the Black Pearl early in the morning, and sipping a drink on its decks in the afternoon.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Holy Cow! If you've never experienced a vacation on a sailing vessel, this is the ticket. We were invited to join our friends on the Black Pearl this past summer and it was the experience of a lifetime. My wife and I are connoisseurs of the all-inclusive or luxury resort so when I tell you hanging out on a 50+ foot catamaran was a fun relaxing time, please believe me. The boat was clean, the berths were comfortable and the WC's were clean and functional. The boat is so big, that you have space for everyone to party together or find a quiet space to get your Zen on! The galley is also big enough to prepare meals all the time, which we did during the day, but took the dingy into shore in the evenings to a different restaurant every evening. We put in to a different port (bay/Cay) each day where we either enjoyed lounging on the boat, snorkeling off the boat, lounging on a beach, lounging by a beach bar:) or taking in a day around the pool at a resort. Between moorings, while under sail or motor, we broke out the provided deep sea rods and even caught a few fish. Every day was a new experience and all exempt from hawking vendors or fighting with crowds for space. Our boat was captained and that worked for all of us since he took the worry off navigating, docking etc. while we were relaxing while also knowing the in-and-outs of the local areas. It is not an all-inclusive resort, but you'll relax just the same while seeing the Caribbean in a way not possible unless you’re sailing.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Being on the Black Pearl is my favorite vacation for so many reasons! This catamaran is beautiful and well maintained. My husband and I took our three children and my 74 year old mother-in-law. We were so happy that the boat was accommodating to all of them. The well equipped kitchen allowed us to easily make meals for everyone, and we had plenty of room for our family and friends to be completely comfortable. Going to shore on the extra large dinghy was so much easier than the smaller dinghy we used on a previous trip. We spent a week sailing all over the BVI. It’s such a pleasure to wake up every morning on the ocean and to be able to start my day with such an incredible view. It’s great to stay in a hotel near the ocean, but it just can’t compare to staying on The Black Pearl. It is the most relaxing trip I’ve ever taken.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I had the opportunity to get on this boat with some good friends in August 2011. The trip was amazing and, to me, the only way to see all that the BVI's have to offer. The accommodations are very nice and comfortable and being able to island hop as you see fit is unbeatable. My favorite stop was Peter Island which is only available via boat. The boat is big with a very large sundeck up top and enough room below to allow for your own personal space and plenty of storage. This is an ideal getaway for a group of friends, a larger family, or a small reunion of any kind. Awesome time on the Black Pearl and can't wait to get back!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I went on the Black Pearl with some friends and it was a trip we will never forget! When we arrived to the Black Pearl we were greeted from our captain and then we were able to relax because it was so organized. The rooms were very cozy and clean. The entertaining area was large so we were able to all hang out together and not feel cramped. The captain was very knowledgable about the islands so we was able to take us places that we would have never found on our own. We highly recommend this boat and captain, very memorable experience!Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Not sure where to begin....other than to say that I'm already planning my next stay on the BP. Beautiful boat - very comfortable and spacious - with all the amenities needed to 'exist' without really needing to go on land. I was travelling with a group of friends; so the numerous 'common areas' were perfect for socializing, having drinks, sharing meals, etc. Easily one of my all time favorite vacations to date!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This was actually our second time on the Black Pearl (BP) and we can't wait to go back again! The BP is a quality boat with all the top upgrades including a large oversized and high powered dinghy (this is crucial for getting around all the islands and going into town to explore!). We have rented catamarans before in the U.S. and British Virgin Islands and other boats don't stack up. The BP has 4 queen beds, 1 bunk bed and two single berths up front (great for a skipper and/or chef). The layout is spacious with plenty of seating and spots for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful landscape. My husband and I have traveled a lot but we can honestly say this is our favorite vacation. We live on the east coast and flights here are typical four hours direct. We have gone with many different groups over the last five years and the islands have something for everyone. The boat is the best of all worlds as it still gives me the luxuries of a nice hotel and my husband the adventure of waking up and doing something new each day. Our favorite spots are the Soggy Dollar on Jost Van Dyke (you must try the BBC or Painkiller drink here), Peter Island, Virgin Gorda (don't miss the Baths) Road Town and of course St. John! We have snorkeled, kayaked, stand-up paddled boarded, fished - you name it, he activities are endless! There are also some amazing spas, shopping (best in St. John) and restaurants to try. I was so excited to hear there was now a second boat, the Jack Sparrow for rent as we have raved so much about this trip to friends and family that our group was getting too large! Thanks again Black Pearl!!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We chartered the Black Pearl for a week over New Year's. It was just an amazing vacation. The boat is beautifully maintained. Everything looks new and works perfectly. The owners have invested in it and it shows. We'd chartered boats on previous trips from the Moorings and the Black Pearl was both nicer and better priced. Being on a larger cat is really great: there's loads of room, enough for several couples to be on board and each have their own space if they like. The dock is perfectly situated in Road Town, just a few minutes walk from a large grocery store, so it's easy to self provision. The charter company is well organized and helped us when we returned (the fuel dock was unexpectedly blocked and we would have been late for our flights if we had waited; they took care of everything for us and we ran to the airport). We will be back!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

By far the best catamaran we have ever chartered in the BVI. The boat was in super condition and much more updated than other boats. The amazing flybridge is the best view for sailing and seats at least 6 people. The salon was very spacious and open, even plenty of head room for my 6' 7" husband! To top it off the dinghy, instead of being small and slow like others was 2-3 times as fast and way above the water line. As one of the ladies in the crew I enjoyed not getting soaked by waves on evening trips in for dinner. Also made it easier to moor anywhere since long distance dinghy trips were not an issue. The Black Pearl was our best vacation and can't wait to go back soon!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I have had the opportunity to vacation aboard the Black Pearl several times and each time it exceeds my expectations. Visiting the BVI via charter or bareboat is a spectacular experience, but doing so on the Black Pearl is beyond words. The boat is kept in pristine shape. I have vacationed with several couples and single friends and we are all comfortable in our cabins. The staterooms are surprisingly large and private, each with their own head and plenty of closet space. I have been in the islands at various times of the year and the air conditioning on the Pearl makes sleeping during warmer weather very comfortable. The galley is very well appointed and it is great to have the option for meals in the main salon or in the rear dining area. We have had 12 people on the Pearl and we were all incredibly comfortable with our sleeping arrangements, while underway, and during meals. It is a great way to spend time with friends...lazy mornings swimming, easy day sails from one beautiful harbor to another, and great dinners onboard. I can't recommend a vacation on the Black Pearl highly enough. It is a wonderful boat, beautifully appointed, in an amazing part of the world.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
