Completely renovated, clean, well equipped and conveniently located close to the beach, restaurants and shopping between the highways at Mile Post 10.5. Enjoy ocean views from the upper decks and take a short stroll across Beach Road (Virginia Dare Hwy) to reach the beautiful beach and Atlantic Ocean. 100 yards to the beach.
This cottage is adjacent to our new Art Gallery which will be opening later this Spring. The Gallery hours are 10am - 6pm daily. Cottage guests enjoy a 15% discount on any purchase!

This place is all that is described and more! We had the best Thanksgiving ever and could not have asked for a better location than this property. The weather was bad for a few days and the game room was great for our grandson to have something to do. We cooked a full T'day dinner in the huge kitchen(and it had everything we needed). It's close to the beach,shops, and any place you want to visit in the OBX. We could not have asked for a better location. The owners are great to work with and we plan to return for years to come.!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+.

Year Purchased: 2012
About the owner: After living most of the previous 30 years abroad (Japan, Guam, Morocco, the UAE, etc) we settled in Kitty Hawk, NC in 2010. We love the laid back beach lifestyle of the OBX and enjoy the challenges that come with 'life on a sandbar.'
Why the Owner Chose Nags Head:
With two large cottages separated by an Art Gallery/Gift Shop we felt this property offered a unique opportunity for investment. We completed renovations of the two cottages in August 2012 and look forward to opening the Gallery in May 2013.

Guests will love the location, comfort, and value of the Pirate Coast Cottages. So close to the beach but not right on the Beach Road with all its noise and traffic.
