Woodward Cottage is a charming 1922 Craftsman style house, Extensive improvements were made in 2012 including a completely renovated kitchen and full bath along with new wiring, plumbing and HVAC in the existing house which has two bedrooms with queen beds. A new wing was added with a master bedroom with queen bed, vaulted ceiling and a full bath with tile shower and washer/dryer. Both the exterior and interior of the addition preserve the aesthetics of the original house while adding modern comforts. There is a fenced back yard with an appealing patio, a gas grill and a chef's herb garden.

This house has so much charm and character! It was perfect for the 3 couples that went on our trip. This house had everything we needed and the outside patio was a big plus! We were close to downtown to go to dinner, bars and shopping. Perfect location. We will certainly be back!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

My 4 girlfriends and I stayed here for the weekend to celebrate my birthday. It was a great location close to downtown, restaurants, grocery stores etc. the house has been nicely remodeled and the kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed all parts of the house spending time out on the back patio and watching a movie together on the living room. We would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

The house was perfect for our stay in Asheville. Convenient location, nicely appointed, comfortable and elegant all in one, while true to the original craftsman character. All bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. Close to Whole Foods, great BBQ joint, Lulua's right down the street and just a short drive 5min or less (or longer, but nice walk) to downtown. Lots of galleries and great food to enjoy in Asheville, when you're not using the great kitchen at the house or enjoying a drink on the back patio at the house. We can't wait to stay again!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We had a great stay.... The house is in a great location just minutes to downtown. Has three comfortable rooms and back yard/patio that is perfect for hanging out in. We loved using the newly renovated kitchen which was well stocked, and also enjoyed the many top-notch restaurants in Asheville. We will be back for sure and look forward to our next stay!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, girls getaway.
