Conch Pearl is a recently built cottage in the heart of historic Dunmore Town and just steps from the azure bay. The pink sand beach is within pleasant strolling distance (10 minute walk or 5 minute golf cart ride).
The cottage has an open, airy feeling - high ceiling and lots of windows to capture the wonderful harbor breezes (but central air for the hotter days!) The loft bedroom with view of the bay is perfect for singles, a couple alone or with an infant. The living room futon folds into a double bed. Relax outdoors on the front porch or on the small private patio in the back. Use the gas grill for frying up the "catch of the day". The kitchen is fully equipped (except for dishwasher) and the breakfast nook provides a comfortable dining area-or place to check e-mails with wireless internet access.
A wonderful deli is just next door for breakfaast or lunch. Enjoy an easy walk to the grocery store, wine and spirits shop, clothing and souvenir shops and several local restaurants. Golf carts are available for rent to explore the island or just to use on your daily jaunts.

After travelling from Perth, Western Australia to Conch Pearl was just a delight with all amenities required for 2 adults and 1 child and all the extras. The cottage was well located on the island and close to Arthurs Bakery (A Must). Brenda was away from the Island at the time, but was managed by Maria. Maria was of great assistance and gave us great guidance on where to eat and the best swimming spots. Thankyou so much for this life time memory at Conch Pearl (Harbour Island) - our dream is to return one day

Our trip to Harbour Island is definatly my most memoriable trip in my 42 years! Our stay in this cottage added to making this a unforgettable trip. Im not one for resort type, over populated commercialized hotels. Staying here made us feel Harbour Island living. With Brendas help and advise we had all the conviences of knowing where to go and how to get around at the same time our privacy. This cabin felt so home-like and I absolutly LOVE the small island! We had a golf cart parked in front waiting for our arrival. A golf cart for your stay will get you anywhere on the island in a matter of minutes. The location of this cabin was perfect.. within a block or so we had the grocery store, Arthurs bakery (miss that bread and those pinapple muffins!!), fresh fish from Captian Bobs, the liquor store for coconut rum, and the water! For our departure, we loaded are suitcases on the golf cart and drove to the dock to catch a water taxi. Johnsons golf cart rentals met us there to pick it up. The entire trip was smooth and easy and everyone was so friendly! Every single day I miss Harbour Island and this cute cabin... What a wonderful birthday trip!! Look forward to returning one day! Thank you Brenda... you were fantastic!

I have stayed with Brend for three consecutive years. Each year I stay a bit longer, and in 2009 I spent 14+ nights at the Conch Pearl. The photos do not do it justice. It is absolutely charming and completely comfortable. The local is optimum if you enjoy walking (or choose to rent a golf cart) as you can buy fresh fish at the dock just around the corner and grill on your BBQ, walk to town for dinner, enjoy some tasty purchases from the gourmet cheese and wine shop just a block away... or take a leisurely stroll to the fabulous beach. I look forward to returning for many years to come! Also, Brenda is a wealth of knowledge and she provides excellent recommendations on everything there is to do.

The owner of our rental, The Conch Pearl, was Brenda and she was a very hospitable host. The cottage was in excellent condition, and extremely clean. It had plenty of room for the two of us. The kitchen was complete with every possbile utensil and dish, glass you needed. It was nice to have an outside patio, though we would have liked a hammock out there -maybe she'll add one. The location was perfect to walk to most things. You must go to Captain Bob's fish market around the corner and Arthur's Bakery! It was fun to travel around in the golf cart! We would certainly recommend this property to others without reservation!
