Condo was everything and more than we expected from website description. Owner called the 2nd day we were there to make sure everything was satisfactory. We would highly recommend.

My family of 3 stayed for 5 nights and had a wonderful time! This was our son's (age 3) first trip to the beach and it was perfect. Being on the second floor was great because we didn't have to go very far to get to the beach and pool. The condo was very clean and felt like a "home away from home". Everything was absolutely wonderful and we are already planning for next year!!!

This unit on the Gulfside is kept in good shape and has almost everything one needs. The location couldn't be better. It's on the second floor overlooking the pool, the splash pad, and the beach. I have a 2 and 4 year old and it was important that they be able to walk to the beach and it was literally right around the corner from the condo. We did check out the lazy river on the opposite side of the resort and it was very nice and easy to get to although it was about a 5 minute walk. Also, there is a bridge walk way that makes it safe to get over the highway. Plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area and a Publix nearby. I did a lot of research and I was aware that not every unit in the building is in good shape or has an owner who is easy to reach. This unit and owner had great reviews and I was not disappointed. I need batteries for the tv remotes and they were provided the next day. I would stay here again as well as stay at any unit managed by this owner.

This was our family’s first trip to Destin and it will definitely not be the last! This condo is in a great location, very well kept, and created a great vacation for all us. This kitchen is well stocked for cooking complete meals, and the location is great for the beach, pools, Splash Park and lazy river. The view from the patio to the pools and beach is great. Free wireless internet was definitely thoughtful and added advantage. The owners of this condo were very nice. I talked to them several times by phone and e-mail, and they were most gracious and accommodating. We would highly recommend this condo and Destin West to everyone. Thanks Denise and LDJ for a wonderful week! We will be returning next year for sure!

This was my families first trip to Destin and it will not be the last! This condo exceeded all of our expectations and My extended family is already making plans to join us next year! Working with the owner was very pleasant- she helped with everything (from changing dates to giving me tips!). My 2 older children (10,11) said this was our best vacation ever and my 5 year old didn't want to leave our "new house"! We thought he was going to lock himself in the bathroom! We spent the days going from beach to pool to splash park to lazy river to the water fall pool! This location was excellant! We hope to be back next year!

This condo was awesome! It was very nicely furnished and very clean. It was located on the second floor so you really didn't have to stand and wait on an elevator. It was a very short walk right out to the beach. The beaches were gorgeous and clean. We never saw any oil...as all the news reports. Pool was huge. Splash gardens and lazy rivers were great too!!! Far enough away from Destin not to be in the hussle and bussle but close enough to travel to if you so chosed that environment. No complaints!! Would love to return again!!

What a wonderful week in paradise! This condo was perfect for our two families - very spacious and comfortable. This kitchen is well stocked for cooking complete meals, and the location is great for both the beach, pools and lazy river. Every room was very clean and the furniture looked new. The beds were so comfortable!! Wireless internet was wonderful, and coffee on the patio in the morning was the perfect start to perfect days. The location on Okaloosa Island is desirable - you can zip to Destin and avoid a lot of the traffic on the east side or to Fort Walton for groceries, mall, etc. Also, the beach to the east is national seashore, so you can find a relatively quiet place if you want, and the pier is only a little ways down the beach to the west. The owners of this condo were so very nice - we talked several times by phone and e-mail, and they were most gracious and accomodating. They worked very hard to make our stay the best it could be, even sending a repairman for a broken garbage disposal! We would highly recommend this condo and Destin West to everyone. Make sure you rent a couple of chairs and and umbrella on the beach, and just relax with a book! Pure heaven! Thanks Denise and LDJ for a wonderful week! We will be returning - soon, I hope!

The location of the condo is awesome. The pool and weight room is very nice as well. I didn't get a chance to go across the street to check out the other pool, but I hear it is nice. I loved being able to walk right out to the sandy beaches!

We have stayed at this place twice and loved it both times. Very clean. Very big. Very nice. Great place to take your children. Not too crowded. Love the lazy river across the street and the easy beach and pool access. Great owners to work with. Highly recommend!

WOW, what a place! We stayed August 11-18 2007. We were thrilled with our condo. When booking on line you never know what to expect, but this was fantastic. I can't say anything bad. My kids (3 daughters, 3 sons- in- law and 6 grandkids) want to return in 2 years. I know they will be staying here again. Thanks for a wonderful time!

Absolutely Wonderful. We rented the week of 6/9 - 6/16/2007 and our stay was great. The condo was perfect. Great view of the beach and pool. The family didn't want to leave. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable.

Our family stayed in unit 204 8-19 thru 8-26-2006. It was pure heaven. The unit had everything we needed. Just to sit on the balcony and have this view was wonderful. There was so much to do with the 3 pools, the beach, and the exciting lazy river. We'll be back next year!!! Thanks.

Destin West Unit 209-May 21,2005: "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the condo. It was so nice to have a complete kitchen and washer/dryer when traveling with the kids. We felt right at home in this beautifully decorated condo. Everthing was comfortable and our kids loved having access to three different resort pools and a short walk across the boardwalk to the beach. The beaches were incredible. We will definitely come back to this part of Florida again. A great family destination."

Spring Break 2005 Unit 204: This was our best vacation on Okaloosa Island yet! The four teens I brought with me were very happy and had so much fun! Everyone had a T.V. for their viewing differences and that was a great help in the evenings. The condo is beautiful and we plan to retrun as soon as possible. Thank you for helping to make our vacation wonderful!

We have three units on the property and have access to other units through our private owner networking group.
