About the owner: We are from Atlanta and fell in love with Highlands, NC on our first visit! We just recently purchased this home and are so excited to have such a wonderful place to escape our busy lives! Please note we are making some updates to the home, so we will put additional photos on shortly!
Why the Owner Chose Highlands:
We love this home because it is spacious enough for get together with our kids, family and friends! Many of the homes we looked at while house hunting had tiny kitchens and family rooms...we were so lucky to find this home! We love to cook and entertain! Our favorite times at the house consist of a glass of wine on the deck or playing games by the fireplace with the kids. We love that the house has three bathrooms, very rare in a Highlands cottage! The floor plan works so well for any type of group! Girlfriend getaways, boys golf outings, downtime with the kids...all work great here! We love being so close to Mirror Lake! we stroll down with coffee and relax while watching the ducks and geese! We also have a canoe to share with our guests!

Our home is very allergy friendly! I have dust mite and pet allergies, so all the bedding is new and each bed has dust mite protection.
