This elegant 3200 square foot home is located on quiet Doty Island, and features 100 feet of prime river frontage. Whether you are in the Fox Cities on business or just need a family vacation, this home has it all. The fully fenced and private backyard features a large patio surrounded by extensive rose gardens, an 80 foot permanent dock with power, a 2 slip wet boat house with 2 jet ski lifts as well as a boat lift under roof, and much more. Bring your own boat with, or rent from one of several reputable boat dealers. The home is 10 minutes by car from the Appleton airport (ATW), 20 minutes from Oshkosh Wittman Field (OSH) and the EAA grounds, and 30 minutes from Lambeau Field and the Green Bay airport (GRB). There are numerous public parks close by—several tennis courts are 2 blocks’ walk away, and there are restaurants and parks on the waterfront a short boat trip from the home. There are also numerous restaurants in downtown Neenah and Menasha, a few blocks away. Inside you’ll find 3 very large bedrooms, one a master suite featuring a hot tub and separate shower; a guest bedroom with a spacious bathroom; and a third bedroom with over 400 square feet that also features a fully equipped en suite office. Each bedroom features high ceilings and large windows with views to the park-like garden and the Fox River. The kitchen features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a gas chef’s range with double oven and rapid boiling feature. Adjoining the kitchen is a bar area with plenty of wine and cocktail glasses, and a pantry. Outside there is a gas grill with a connection to the home’s gas line. The formal dining room is perfect for entertaining guests. The formal living room features a gas log fireplace, and there is also a second sitting area which adjoins both the formal living area and the outside patio area. The home has been professionally decorated and is a wonderful space for entertaining or just relaxing. For little more than the cost of renting hotel rooms, you can enjoy your home away from home here in the Fox Cities of Appleton, Neenah and Menasha. We had a party of seven stay at this luxury house for 4 weeks while in Appleton for work, and it was the perfect place to come home to. The property manager Annie and the owners Tom and Lily were hospitable, communicative and very responsive to any concerns we had. We had a few really lovely, sunny days outside in the pristine backyard, and we were able to grill very easily with the gas-hookup, and play horseshoes and badminton with the games provided. The house was immaculate upon arrival, and the kitchen is stocked beyond belief! There were honestly dishes and place settings for 20 people! Every room upstairs had a view of the water. It was magical. The master bathroom was just as big as the master bedroom — the jetted tub was sublime and relaxing. Plush bathrobes and toiletries were provided — it was like a luxurious boutique hotel! We had children in our group, and the expansive park and playground were just a few blocks away (and the kids were elated when the ice cream truck came by!). It was a short drive to downtown Neenah (try Fresh for lunch and Cherry On Top for dessert) and just an easy 10-15 minute commute for us to downtown Appleton. It's an idyllic place to stay and we can't recommend it enough! If we ever return to Appleton we hope to stay here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
