  This home is something out of the English countryside. Large stone walls with steep roofs, lots of beautiful picture windows looking directly on the ocean on a large lot with plenty of room around the home. We enjoyed a beautiful family reunion here. The house was perfectly furnished with everything we needed to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving feast. The rooms were spacious, and three of the four had stunning views of the ocean. We enjoyed the large deck and backyard and having a small private beach for our own use. We also appreciated that this home was dog-friendly. Our small lab had the time of his life the week we were here!

  This house is absolutely amazing! I was looking for the perfect place to come visit with my very close friends for a couple days of peaceful relaxation. This was the PERFECT house! The views are unbelievable, you think the pictures look amazing..wait until you see it in person! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the little room off of the kitchen which was all windows and had a cute little fireplace. We must have spend the majority of our stay in this room! The owners did a great job making this a truly comfortable and cozy home all together. You can even walk down to a private beach off the back of the property! We will most definitely be back very soon!!

  This property is amazing. The pictures do not do it justice. This house is extremely beautiful and comfortable. I did not want to leave. My three companions and I had more than enough space there 2 other people coulds have easily stayed with us. The luxury of each person having her own bathroom was not only a huge time saver when heading out, but stupendous in its own right. The only thing you may have to worry about is the fight over who is going to get the master bedroom that features a spa like bathroom with bay window views of the ocean from the tub. No matter who wins that fight, the many panoramic views of the ocean from the inside the house are simply breathtaking. There is nothing better than watching the sunset over the ocean. In this house you can't miss it, whether you are on the back deck, in the living room, in the tub, or in any of the upstairs rooms. It's really something to experience. Additionally the house is fully stocked with everything you might need, from cooking and dining utensils, to linens, to board and card games. Not only are there views of the ocean, but you can hear the sweet lull of the ocean from the upstairs bedroom which was wonderful. The location is also very convienient to downtown Carmel, Big Sur, and Point Lobos in the event you want to venture outside. The owners of the house are wonderful about providing recommendations of where to go and what to see while staying in Carmel. If you should have any problems while you are the there the on site contact person is wonderful. We were having a little trouble initially getting in the house, and the contact was completely accessible and had us in the house immediately. It was great. I highly recommend staying here. It's beautiful, comfortable, and centrally located to major attractions. I would definietely stay here again. It was truly a magical experience.

  What a wonderful experience! This home is absolutely amazing. Everything was very clean and welcoming. The location is secluded but yet accessible. Nice to be next to shops, Lobos, bars, ocean. THe property felt very safe, and comfortable. The tips about places to check out in the area were helpful and led us to a nice evening Could not recommend highly enough.

  Photos only hint at the stunning beauty and deep serenity we found at this property. Nestled in an alcove of the California coast line, this place provides the luxury of pure privacy with spectacular views, and all the amenities one could want or need. The kitchen is well equipped, music ports are dispersed throughout the house, there is a closet full of board games, and my personal favorite feature: a spa room with bathtub overlooking the ocean. Perfectly private, yet close enough to Point Lobos and other hiking destinations, as well as the town of Carmel, to frequent the local hot spots. Definitely a must-stay location!

  What a fun place to visit - the property is unbelievable with fabulous view from the house. The pictures don't do it justice. Everything is very high quality and nicely decorated. We could have sipped wine on the stone bench watching the waves crash for hours! How peaceful. The owners were very helpful with tips on the area. We really enjoyed Carmel with its quaint shops and restaurants. But we also loved taking our 3 year old to the aquarium in Monterey which was a very short drive. We hope to make it back there!

  First off, making the reservation was easy. The assistance we received from the owners about the area and attractions was very thorough, as well as helpful. When we arrived at the beautiful home, it was even better than the pictures shown. The house was immaculate, well stock and organized, and beautiful! The beds were very comfortable and the bedding of high quality. There wasn't anything that we needed that wasn't there. The home and its grounds were absolutely breathtaking. It has terrific unobstructed views of the ocean and in the morning and night we would sit on the back porch and witness incredible sunrises and sunsets. We even opened the windows in the bedrooms at night and fell asleep to the waves crashing. We found the home to be very conveniently located. It was close enough to downtown Carmel, but located outside of the hustle and bustle. We found it very easy to visit Pebble Beach, Monterey, and a number of the wineries. There are even hiking trails within 5 minutes of travel. The owners’ love of the house shows through...thanks for sharing your wonderful home, we will be back!!!

  The house is beautiful with amazing views from every room and the evening sunsets are unforgettable. The pictures on this site don’t do it justice! The location is exceptional with the town of Carmel very close with cute restaurants and shops. Monterey is about 10 minutes away and has a little something for everyone in the family. Point Lobos State Reserve is less than a mile from the house and offers sea lions, sea otters, and pine and cypress forests with relatively easy hiking. There is also many other hiking choices in the area like Garrapata State Park. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. The property is well maintained and the owners are very helpful.
