'Indian Pine' is located in Connestee Falls -a gated community in the mountains of western North Carolina, six miles from the town of Brevard. Connestee Falls has 4,000 wooded acres, four large man-made lakes, clubhouse (golf shop, fitness center, locker rooms, lunch grill, formal dining room and bar), 18 hole championship golf course, tennis-pickleball-bocce courts, heated lap and kiddie pools, numerous hiking trails and magnificent waterfalls. The house, nicknamed Indian Pine, is a short 10-minute walk (one minute drive) to all of these amenities. It is on a beautiful, secluded, wooded cul-de-sac street with only two homes that are surrounded by pristine wooded acreage, and the 11th golf hole. At the end of the cul-de-sac is one of the many hiking trails in Connestee Falls. This trail leads past the 11th golf fairway and down to Lake Ticoa. The house is nearly 2,000 square feet of finished area in the main level, second level/loft and lower level. The main floor contains new red oak hardwood floors, the master bedroom with king size bed and HDTV, large walk-in closet, full bathroom with jetted spa tub, fully equipped kitchen, living room with HDTV and propane gas fireplace, separate dining room, wood sun deck off the living room and screened porch off the dining room. The upper level consists of a bedroom with queen bed, walk in closet, full bath and large carpeted loft area that offers a beautiful view of the rear woods. The lower level has a bedroom area with queen bed, two closets and an adjacent separate recreation/living room area with HDTV, a wood burning stove and a queen sleep sofa. There is a fully equipped laundry room on the lower level, which can be accessed from the one-car garage. Indian Pine is equipped with full WiFi and enjoys excellent cellular reception. Since we live in a cellular world, there is no active land line in the house. You will receive an amenities package that includes four complimentary green fees at our championship mountain golf course and a free day at the fitness center.

Connestee Falls and the surrounding towns offered everything we wanted in a place to live. Moderate summer and winter climate, natural beauty and excellent golf are just a few of the many attributes of the area. It is a great getaway for friends and extended family. There is nothing better than the lakes, hiking and fresh air for the grand-kids. The lakes are stocked with a variety of fish, which can be caught after obtaining a Connestee Falls license.
