Built in 1875 and recently renovated from floor to ceiling, the Sycamore House boasts modern amenities while maintaining Southern Charm. Pine floors, built-in bookcases, double fireplaces, exposed beams, new appliances and televisions and free wireless internet all make this home the perfect getaway. This home sleeps 6 with 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms and a pullout queen sleeper sofa. The master bedroom features a King Bed and as well as its own access to our newly built roof-top deck overlooking the courtyard. The guest room is equally as attractive with a Queen bed and period details, including original fireplace. For even more outdoor living space, you will find a courtyard through the French Doors of the Living Room, complete with a stainless steel grill...the perfect place for friends and family to gather.
Bars, restaurants and attractions are all within walking distance from this property, but if you choose to bring a car there is plenty of free street parking in front of the Sycamore House.
Included in every Rental are 2 gift certificates to Mrs. Wilkes Boarding House Restaurant...look it up online and you'll see it is worth trying..in fact it was included in the original book '1,000 Places to See Before You Die'...open from 11-2, M-F

My husband and I travel a lot, and we are always thrilled to find gems like the Sycamore House! Located on the most desirable street in Savannah (with Free parking!), this 2 bdrm townhouse is gorgeous! From the giant bathroom to the bbq in the backyard, privacy fence, spacious master bedroom with private deck, this place is perfect! We really enjoyed our stay here! When the internet went down, we called the owners and they responded within 20 minutes! When the bbq was out of gas... they came right over to swap it out for a new tank! The place is clean, has 2 living rooms, 3 tvs, very close to everything, cozy, spacious and again... very responsive and lovely owners!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This property was a great renovation project, and you can't beat the location...Jones Street has always been one of the most picturesque locations in the Historic District.

This home has one of the largest Sycamore trees in the Historic District right in its own backyard, hence the name...Inside, the home has character...originally built in the late 1800's, it has the pedigree like many other historic properties, but it achieves a more approachable, informal feel (some of the historic properties can be a bit stuffy and overwhelming). You'll find some unique detail or aspect every day you're staying here.
