A stone's throw from the Caribbean Beach, this 4000 square foot oceanfront House offers beautiful views of the natural Caribbean coast. A large lush front and back yard with direct access (50 feet from the beach sand) and a roomy 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms house makes our house a dream for families and couples alike. You can have the option of renting the whole house (4 Bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and 2 kitchens) or simply the lower floor or the upper floor with each floor offering 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, front porch areas that face the beautiful Caribbean ocean, private access area for each floor and a common washer room area. While houses are fairly close on either side of the property, being located 3 km from the town of Puerto Viejo privacy keeps the house relatively secluded. The interior is decorated in a classic Caribbean style, with local wood and handcrafted wood used for all construction where the upstairs has handcrafted hardwood floors and ceramic tile floors downstairs, with enough room for entertaining groups. The two bedrooms upstairs has a comfortable queen size bed in one and a comfortable king size bed in the other. The two bedrooms down stairs offer a comfortable queen size bed in each room. Each of the bedrooms offer closets for storing clothes making your stay even more comfortable.

                        Stayed in the upstairs part of the house - "ocean view." Everything was wonderful from the moment we arrived. First off, the house was right on the beach! The sound of the waves was hypnotizing all hours of the day and night - and we thoroughly enjoyed how relaxing the location was. It is a good walk to Puerto Viejo, but we were able to rent bikes at Banana Azul and purchased all of our groceries from the store at the end of the road. Although before we arrived, I did imagine the location to be closer to town... but when we arrived, I realized i much preferred being outside of town as we had the entire stretch of beach to ourselves. What an experience! The house and property were extremely well cared for - as were the guests. Jose the property manager lives behind the house with his amazing family - and by the end of our time there, we were sad to say goodbye. Anything we could have possible needed to know or have help with, he was there with the most genuine respect to ensure we enjoy our vacation to the fullest. We purchased the best souvenirs of the trip from his wife, who hand makes baskets and jewelry from the local plants. This is a good house for anyone that wants to be on the beach and stay in a house with comfortable amenities. It was not the jungle, rustic style we stayed in later on in the trip - but this was the perfect place to start and unwind into the tranquil mind of a true vacation. Recommendations: Although there is a kitchen, with stove, fridge, silverwear, plates, etc - remember to bring any spices or cooking oil you might overlook. Luckily our jar of coconut oil could be used for everything - and engendered some delicious meals. Bring flashlights - when 6 o'clock hits, it is pitch black! There are no street lights here!

                        We had a very pleasant stay in cassa Jessica, the house is isolated from the city, giving you a perfect place to relax and rest. Jose (housekeeper) was great and helped us with everything we needed. The only reproachable thing would be the quality of the water.

                        Recommended for: Pet owners, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

                        Beautiful set right on the beach as the advertisement states. Wake up in the mornings to waves crashing on the beach to birds chirping in trees all around us. The actual town is about 2 km from the house which is either accomplished by walking on the water's edge along the beach or calling a taxi for a simple ride to town. Michel the house manager was great as well as the on site house keeper Jose.

                        Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.
