  Words do not describe this home. Our jaw dropped as soon as we entered inside the front door. We were treated Incredibly by Ken and his team at Carillon. The home is decorated so beautifully, we used it for many of our wedding photos. This is the perfect house for a week away with the family and friends. I would highly recommend this house to anyone that is looking to stay in the carillon area. The owner was very friendly and made everything enjoyable. Some highlights: POOL! HOT TUB! BALCONY VIEW OF OCEAN! GUEST HOUSE! Again thanks to Ken and his family for putting the work into this house. It really shows.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  The Next Generation is a beautiful home. It is newly decorated and renovated with lots of space. The owner was very helpful and ensured we had everything we needed when we arrived. We had plenty of room for two families with a total of 9 people. It was just a short walk to the beach and the beach pool. I highly recommend it! We shopped at Pier Park, went to the Outlet Mall in Destin, enjoyed gorgeous sunsets on the beach and had a wonderful dinner at Shades.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers.

  The photos and description of the house were spot on. We were very happy with the house and layout. The owners have provided ample amounts of linens and the kitchen was well outfitted. We didn't want for any accessory. We had an electrical issue after a lightning storm, and the property manager got an electrician in to fix the problems in a very timely manner (and it was a Sunday!). While the house isn't on the beach, the walkover to the beach is very close and convenient. I would recommend the property to anyone wanting to visit the PCB area

The location of The Next Generation being so close to Beach access and restrooms being located under the walkover itself are real vacation time savers.

  The Next Generation house is probably one of the nicest vacation homes we've rented from VRBO. The house is professionally decorated and it showed. It was very well appointed and all we had to do was load up in groceries and we were set all week. The grocery store (Publix) and liquor store were conveniently located 2 mins away. Initially, I was dissappointed that we were not connected to the scenic 30A route (Ken did warn me of that beforehand) that connects all the other beaches like Rosemary, Alys, Seaside, Watercolor, etc., but after fighting the crowds during a venture down to Watercolor beach, I was so glad to return to the serenity and calmness of the beaches at Carillon. And, when we were not enjoying the beautiful beach, my kids and their friends made great use of the heated pool and hot tub.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  We enjoyed our stay at The Next Generation very much. The home was beautifully decorated and very clean. We really enjoyed the private pool and spa and loved that the house had multiple rooms with king beds. There were no closets in the master bedroom in the cottage, however, the owners did provide suitcase slings to help give you a place to store your luggage. We loved the central location of the home , and its close proximity to the beach made it very convenient. We would definitely recommend this home to others for a family beach trip.

In the Guest Cottage King bedroom a custom armoire permanent closet has been now been installed. It has hanging space as well as those always needed drawers for our guests' "home" at the Beach.

  The house was wonderful, everything we needed and so convenient for families with small children. The included adjacent guest cottage was perfect for "the in-laws" and add the heated pool and spa in between and I don't know that we could have done better! The photos were dead on, everything fresh and new, in its place, and spotless clean on arrival. Ken was super helpful in making sure everything went smoothly including recommending a personal shopper....1st time doing that and to arrive after a long drive and have the food stocked and ready (including a homemade coconut crème pie and never to be forgotten pecan pie waiting in the fridge) was the way to go! Thanks again and see you next year!

Your family vacation time is too precious to spend a lot of it, especially right after your arrival, on grocery shopping!
