This property is located at 1997 Avocet in Oceanside Village a private/gated community just minutes from the beach - we have private beach access by car or golf cart - 2 golf carts are included for use while on your vacation if entire house is rented or if separate renters up and down - 1 golf cart for each renter (LICENSED DRIVERS ONLY). There are two pools, one indoor and one outdoor, playground, tennis courts, basketball courts,horseshoe pits and clubhouse in the community. Wireless internet is now available.
Sheets,towels and beach towels are included in the rent along with cleaning service when you check out.
During the season the entire house can be rented - during the off season the upstairs, downstairs OR the entire house can be rented - Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms both with queen beds, 1 queen sofa bed and 2 futons in our huge sunroom. There are 2 full bathrooms upstairs. Downstairs there are 2 bedrooms each with queen beds. There is 1 bath downstairs with a shower only, there is also a screened in porch downstairs.
Each floor has a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and washer/dryer, there is an outside shower, screened in porch downstairs and a huge deck upstairs, carport, shed, beach chairs, rafts, boogie boards, beach toys, charcoal grill are there for your use. There is parking for four cars
There is a $200 refundable deposit due at time of booking. Rent is due 30 days prior to check-in. Small dogs will be allowed with an additional $100 per dog refundable deposit and previous permission. (NO CATS) The deposit is mailed back when property checked out okay and keys are returned. NO SMOKING INSIDE THE HOME OR DECK AND SCREEN PORCH!!!

We've been coming to Myrtle Beach area vacationing for about 24 years staying first at the Sea Mist Resort. Then found out about Oceanside Village from a friend from work who owned a home in Oceanside Village and we stayed there for many years then decided to buy because we loved the community so much.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this awesome home in Oceanside Village! The owners couldn't have been more helpful in answering all our questions prior to our stay. If you are wanting a home that has everything, this is the home for you. There were toys, games, boogie boards, chairs, towels, beach towels, etc. for all to use. There was a lot of outdoor seating on the deck and below. We of course loved the golf carts and used them a lot :) We hardly used our car since we could hop in the golf cart and cruise over to the beach in Oceanside Village's private lot. It was a nice touch that there is rope lighting on the top deck which gives you a huge lit up space to gather even at night. Oh yeah, there are several outdoor showers (including one in the back of the house that is enclosed where you can take a private shower with warm water). Thanks so much Nita for making our vacation a special one!! We hope to come again :)

We stayed at A little piece of Heaven October 22. The house was fantastic, Plenty of room for everyone to stretch out, loved the separate up and downstairs living areas and kitchens, great for large families or a girls weekend like we had. The house was clean, and nicely decorated, the kitchens are equipped to cook anything you would like. Love the hardwood floors, the decks and screen porch. The house comes equipped with everything you would need for vacation, down to beach chairs, toys, boogie boards, games galore, beach towels, nice bed linens, and big fluffy bath towels, and plenty of them. Really all you need to bring are clothes and personal items. The golf carts are great for getting around the village, and to the beach. I would recommend this house to anyone, and hope to stay there again myself in the future. The owners are really nice, and have made every effort to ensure thier vacation home will suit anyone's needs.

My family and I stayed at this rental property for a week this summer. It was a wonderful time. The house had all the ammenaties, and it was a perfect central location to the beach, stores, putt putt golf, water park, flea market and the Pier. The golfs cart made getting around the neighborhood, the pools, and the beach, so convenient. My children loved all of the boards games in the house to play. I would recommend every family to stay at the Day residence in Oceanside Village in a heart beat. I will definitely be making another reservation really soon for next summer. We stayed for three months, Jan, Feb and March. We loved the house because it was very cozy. We did a lot of walking because all the amenties were very close by. Our pugs enjoyed the sunroom and the deck on warm days. We could not ask for better landlords, they kept in touch with us and made sure we had everything that we needed. We found the house clean and welcomong upon our arrival. We will be back next year and look forward to a warmer winter.
